Could we get an expansion to free Character customization in the near future?

With WoW making character appearance customization, including gender, free, (outside of race), could we get a similar option?

Fantasia would still have its uses as it would be the way to change your player race.

But could we get gender, physical traits like height, horns for Au'ra, tail sizes.etc able to be modified for free?

So, could we get an expansion to the free customization?

Edit: By free I mean not-real money, gil and poetics.etc can be used as a cost to do these customizations, but that's aside from the main point.

The specific traits you want to become free to be customised are pretty major changes - not like a haircut or slapping on lipstick. So sorry but have to say nope leave it as it is thanks.

More options is apparently one of those things held back by engine limitations (each race can only have so many options).

Being able to change everything within race for free at Jandelaine would be lovely, though.

How would it put him out of the job? Wouldn't the free customizations be in game at the Aesthetician? I always imagined they would be.

If anything that would mean people using the Aesthetician way more often.

I feel like they could tag on skin colour, as well as Hrothgar hair styles, to the aesthetician, and maybe even an option to change your voice considering you can't fully preview that in the character creator. Basically just keeping your race and clan, height, and gender as the fixed things you'd need a fantasia for.

I think locking into race, gender and anything with a slider is fair but I do also see where OP is coming from.

WoW had a limited character creator too because of its limitations but managed to find ways to improve it in Shadowlands and in Shadowlands they are pretty much dropping the "Recustomization" character service entirely and making it available in game. If you want to change name or race that will cost you but everything within your race can be changed at the stylists, including gender.

I'd be cool with them expanding the aethstician to include more options. Really I wouldn't have a problem with it if they just made everything except race changable. I doubt it will happen though, I don't think they'll want to cut back on fantasia sales. Then again I wouldn't have expected Blizzard to cut back on character recustomization feature fees either so who knows.

Nothing hurts more than having picked the wrong eye color and thinking "do I really have to spend 10$ just for this?"

Some clarification on what I mean by "free" on customization.

I mean real money, not gil or tombstones.

They could make Gender Changing cost things like Poetics or a lot of gil when using Jandelaine's services, but the point is that it wouldn't cost real money.

Real money would be used to change race, name.etc
