Queue into leveling roulette as a SCH. At level 79, so just need a couple more runs to level 80. What's the worse that can happen?

Queued into Mt. Gulg. Everyone is lv 79. We have a new player who joined in the dungeon for the first time. I brace myself since SCH is basically missing a large portion of its healing kit (Summon Seraph + Consolation x2) and I'm in leveling gear ~lv 73-77 (so average ilvl about 408 or so because I haven't gotten lucky with the drops in the previous dungeons).

We do the big pulls. First big pull I used up all my resources including my adlo & deployed shields I pre-casted. Second big pull I run out of MP. Tank says "Should I pull smaller? Oh I didn't realize you are undergeared."

Me just staring at the tank use 1 mitigation only when he runs low on HP other than sheltron after I burn most of my healing tools, arms length on the 2nd big pull when nearly everything dies rather than in the beginning of the pull. I had to use adlo spam to keep him alive, all the while hearing the freestyling SAM's Hakaze noises repeating in the background wearing full scaevan gear, so things were dying exceptionally slow. But the main focus was that I'm undergeared and because of that he wants to pull smaller.

I don't think me being 'undergeared' is the issue here. It's times like these where I rather be a White Mage.

Yeah, I've seen people far more under geared in Mt. Gulg and they managed just fine. Definitely wasn't a healer problem in this case.

When I'm in a situation like this ( and I have been literally you in there as a healer), I typically reply sarcastically something along the lines of "Oh yes, the source of our troubles has been me and me all along only. It surely possibly couldn't have been *insert list of issues here*. Oh no definitely not. But please, keep scapegoating me to make yourselves feel better."

I've gotten some snarky responses from that but its amazing how suddenly, the tank now uses more mitigation then before and the dps finally wakes the hell up. At worst, it's gotten me kicked but at least I don't pay the 30min penalty for people's obliviousness.

Gubal Library, I'm on GNB. There's a sprout DRG and a returner BLM.

Adds go okayish but first boss I'm the only person alive with boss at like 40%. The DPS are gobbling up AOEs as fast as they can and the healer just got stuck on the book while trying to slide by it, we've all been there.
Rough start but ok. Second go the DPS are keep dying to avoidables despite multitude of resses. The booksliding strikes again after we've been looping it for like 4 times and I solo the boss from 12 or 18 or something. Probably could've done it on the first go but I thought it'd be faster to wipe.

Second boss is kind of uneventful but boy oh boy the last boss.
I predicted the DPS are going to stand in pulsing orbs and die and they sure did. They also don't do pads so after getting every kinds of adds we wipe. I say the marker on you spawns the orb and you want to step away from it and how the floor pads work. Dragoon acknowlegdes and we proceed to wipe a second time because we got both 3 pad adds with no DPS to kill them before all our mitigation and healing resources are used. These guys just can't avoid mechanics to save their life.
Healer chimes in again about the orbs, and even gives the hint that I left out that you can take the marker away to spawn the orb out instead of in.
Pull 3, the DPS keep getting hit by things. I see the BLM take half a step away from the orb and then proceed to collect vuln stacks until death. We got a couple of 2 pad adds but alright. Dragoon is alive for 3 pads so SURELY this is ok now, they've done the mechanic now. Me and healer are standing and jumping on one of the pads while the DRG is happily beating the boss. There was a rescue attempt to get the BLM away from eating the orbs so that wasn't an option. Both adds spawn in again. Eyerolling and countdown to wipe commences.

After a moment of reflection I decided to eat the penalty. I feel a bit bad about both of those DPS being new to the place and needing it for story progression but there's a limit to how long I'm willing to bash my head against 2 mechanics in a dungeon. A little less tunneling and a little more looking at WTF is happening on your screen pls.

Queued for roulette trials and get susanoo alread 12mins in and the party's thinking of abandoning when it hits 15mins. A tank arrived and says he's new to tanking and the vote abandon immediately passes XD. I feel bad for the tank and feel stupid for clicking yes as soon as the tank arrived. Queued again and got yojimbo. Got my barding after as well.

Same thing with why they are refusing to roll on loot(it was supposedly to teach alliance C a lesson in Puppets' Bunker when at least half of the party was new, and almost everyone ended up dying...a lot; I was the tank for them and didn't die due to farming that place to try and get orchestration rolls and the 2B minion)

I had some good fun in WoD yesterday. Everything went fine except for Cerberus of course.
I'm in as a GNB in Alliance A, so I tanked adds. During the fight, a second puddle emerges which means, not enough people in the belly. We noticed that their healer did not follow them and they all died in there. Surely enough, C tank died so I had to take over. At that point he had already 8 stacks of Haste and I only managed to survive a few seconds as he quickly had 14 stacks and melted everyone.
After the wipe someone in my Alliance said:
"A = Adds."
Me: "Yeah, had to take over Cerb tho."
Alliance Chat goes over the Job of every Alliance, as people didn't seem to know.
"A=Adds B=Belly C=Chains"
C-Tank: "Which means I don't start the battle."
As i wondered who does then someone pulled and we did the fight almost flawless this time.

So I wondered. Normally B is the main tank but A tanks the adds, B get's gobbled up and that would leave C Tank to main tank as he has nothing better to do right?

I used to remember the very old strategy of all dps going in the belly and absolutely melting everything so Cerberus goes down quickly. As for which alliance tank is the main tank, it usually doesn’t matter.
