Online store prices are outrageously high!

If I went to a shop and get charged for 10 dollars, that's me asking for it because they typically display prices for food they sell. That means I knowingly took that bread that costs 10 dollars and brought it to the shelf. My choice
Secondly, if I didn't like those prices, I'd just...leave the store and go to another one that sells cheaper? Duh. "But what if it's like, the only store in your neighborhood?" Omg omg omg, um....oh i know! I'll just...not buy the bread and live on something else. *Cue mind explosion*

None of that has anything to do with the point being made. Which was if something is over-priced and someone tells you just to budget for it, you wouldn't treat it as a reasonable thing to say.

You're comparing apples to oranges. Buying a loaf of bread for £10 IS ridiculous and it's really not something an adult needs to say/think aloud. It's a gimme that said adult should shop around and seek a better deal in the market; to think otherwise shows that your childish and aren't equipped for the real world. There's only one Mogstation. It has no competition in Mogstation item sales (as SE is the sole owner), therefore they control Mogstation sales.

It has never mattered whether something is needed or not. Being ripped off as something is over-priced is being ripped off as something is over-priced. There are no comparable items. Items in other games are not available in FFXIV, therefore they are not competing in the same market.

It doesn’t matter if it’s literally the same thing or not. The concepts are the same or close enough so of course the items are comparable.
