    So if he's glowing yellow it's probably not so important to move away. This is helpful when trying to replenish MP. ^^

    Hi Eldaena,
    Very observant! I didn't notice the change in length for build up to Pom Flare versus Moogle-go-Round, but I'm glad that is the case because Pom Flare's AoE is much greater and it is much more deadly. In either case, Red = Run away! ^^;

    Fuschia is also "run away quickly" for mages. And now I'm curious about the Eye Shot effect. I will try to pay attention to that one next time.

    Often being the main tank healer I'm constantly swinging the camera around to keep track of where everyone is in the arena while watching HP gauges and the chat log -- so seeing individual actions can be really difficult.
    I usually just stand in the middle with my cursor on the tank. Letting him run around doing whatever and hitting him with cure and buffs as he comes near, or using resonance in important situations. My group usually doesn't need too much healing though, so sometimes I just nuke until needed. Conjurers in that fight end up having a lot of MP if people know what they're doing and not getting themselves unnecessarily hit. lol So, I find nuking even on conjurer was helping speed things up. >.< Sorry about the tangent. But basically, yes, I just wanted to say I keep my cursor on the tank and spot heal when necessary. Actually, my sights are usually on the king and tailturner, so I only move when necessary. (Or if someone bound Whiskerwall who was on me or something. lol)

    I've never been in a party that good. ^^;

    I don't know if this is how English-speaking players also do the Moogle fight, but the normal tactic with Japanese parties has become where the tank will do a marathon running a big circle around the arena. Depending on how careful the tank is, he/she may have hate and varying numbers of Moogles in chase.

    Quite often we will have a Moogle doing an AoE attack in the center, so I can rarely stay still in the middle.

    I keep my cursor on the tank as well, but more often than not I find myself dangerously low on MP. We also usually have a second healer to take care of the DD players because we would definitely wipe without her.

    I'm not ashamed to say that I still find the Moogle fight to be very challenging, but it's very fun as well. ^^

    Thanks for the tips!

    lol Sounds fun. =) The circling has been our tactic for as long as I can remember lol. We sometimes have pugilists in our fights to help sub tank if the mages are getting too much hate with Whiskerwall. (We usually have 2 con, 2-3 thaum, 2-3 archer, 1-3 pug, 1 gladiator, and occasionally marauder or lancer. Which by the way, is totally doable as long as people know how to play the classes, lol.) We keep trying out new orders of destroying the moogles, but so far we haven't found anything better for us than Pomburner, Furryfoot, Shaggysong, Woolywart, Tailturner, Ruffletuff, King, Whiskerwall. Some people like to do Whiskerwall, King, Ruffletuff with sub tanks for a slower, but possibly safer run, but that's only certain circumstances. Also, if one of the moogles in our order happen to get "Blimped!" (invincible) we quickly switch targets and take down the next moogle. It's too time consuming having players sitting on their thumbs waiting for a moogle to deflate. lol Hope this stuff can somehow help. =)

    This is in line with how I play the moogle fight myself. I usually start the fight with Cleric Stance on in order to burn down the melee based Moogles. I find if you are fast enough they pop 1 at a time and little healing is needed, especially with 2 Conjurers. @ Memento, we use the double stoneskin tactic while the rest of the party heals with Sacred Prism + Cure (all while in the center of the map). I drop Cleric Stance in favour of better healing at this point. The tank then fires off AoE enmity skills (flash, rampart etc), and off we go for the chaotic dance with which ever order that has been decided on.

    Should we have any stray moogles, I have a macro that I can fire off on the fly requesting a Shadowbind while circling the opposite direction of the tank. Worst case scenario if no binds stick, the tank can grab the moogle on the way by (usually Whiskerwall). Once enough moogles are worn down the healing becomes easier and I begin throwing out Aero when I can spare the MP, or an extra party buff.

    We almost always run a good mix in our parties so that we include at least 1 magic damage dealer because they take down melee based moogles quickly.

    Regarding the OP: I like the idea of recognizing the colours, I usually watch my modified battle log. I can be a little hectic though so if I see any charging, or if the King wanders to the middle, I relocate.
