GW2 is the gold standard for character customization in my opinion, they push out hairs somewhat regularly, new weapon skins are pretty much every two weeks, and the dye system is MILES better than what FFXIV can muster, not to mention the character creator itself is way more robust and nuanced than 'pick 1/4'.

I can (and have) spend(ed) hours just sitting in the character creator making characters in that game. Even without spending a dime on cosmetics your character can look so interesting/unique.

Another game that got it right, Valley of the Gods, i remember watching the devs workshop the art for the hair

It's a singleplayer adventure game, so you can't quite have that level of animation and lighting here, but here's hoping there will be more itteration on this technique in the future so we can see a more optimized version become standard for all games with character creation♥

Holy crap Amnmaat, please. Humans are animals. Basic fact of reality. If you cannot accept that there is no use talking with you about anything really. Go read any kind of biology book please or take an evening class on biology, for your own sake. Seriously I am concerned at this point.
