Wouldn't it be simpler to make use of our current accessories feature and request those type of items to be made for that? I mean, personally, I'd like a toothpick or bubble pipe to be added to that feature without taking my eyewear or headwear off and I don't want them "on" at all times.
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.

I don't think I'd like the mouth options but face + head options? Yes please. We should be able to wear eyepatches/goggles/glasses as well as hats.
yeah totally, sounds rad, would love to rock a bandana and mask combo on ninja
it won’t show on my guy anyways but it’s the thought that counts

no thanks to things in the mouth like a pacifer... leave that in the ragnarok, maple story, and etc.
optional slots for glasses sure

So, I'm just gonna point out that umbrellas got moved to that "Fashion Accessories" menu. It's only umbrellas for now... but the way it's worded means there could be other temporary equippables used by it down the line.

I would love to be able to wear a bandana and glasses at the same time.

Said it before but I think using their accesories for glamour would be pretty smart. It means no extra sever demand yet allows both model detail AND color to come through with no change in data cost. Instead of saying you're wearing the manderville ring it would say you're wearing orange sunglasses (on your ring finger lol).
In order to prevent silly combinations they would need some extra code though, open and closed gates through a tagging system. So like gear is tagged dragoon, but here instead it would be tagged eye wear. If one ring is eye wear and the other is eye wear then the system takes the first glamour and ignores the second (preventing you from stacking stuff and looking like an absolute graphic glitch lol). A current in game example would be if you glamour Paladin only gear onto your tank set, it works when you're Paladin it does not work when you're Warrior. This would help a lot as it means you could be wearing glasses on your headgear and have glasses on your rings, and the game would just take your actual worn glasses as priority (read headgear first).
This could allow things like having open handed gloves combined with nails, glasses with hats, and further could add other new things like backpacks, potion belt, capes, etc. Now there would obviously be some potential for hilarious clipping, but the system would 'try' to help with that (like preventing you from wearing two sets of glasses, or wearing glasses on a closed helmet). You could have some wild fun with it too, perhaps some sort of majora mask like items put into the system, you might see Au Ra bone pieces that bring them closer in line to the concept art, heck you might even have some rare sort of Vivi like glamour that makes your shade / smokey shadow like.
Of course there may be an issue where accessories were budgeted very little in terms of system resources and so lower spec machines might not appreciate the sudden increase in detail of characters, perhaps what might solve that is allowing, and by default on maybe certain machines, having accessories hidden for other characters. I mean they were hardly notice-able before unless you were really examining them lol. So if you've a lower spec machine or bias then you can be like 'accessories off on all, all but party, all but self', just like the effects option, and this can help people who don't care or can't handle all that extra visual data (servers wont care but the local machines might not have been budgeted for this).

Yeah I wouldn't describe everything in FFXIV as having a serious tone lol, personally I think most of the Yokai weapons are already pretty tacky looking, but I can agree I'm glad they've stayed away from things like literal poop hats, pacifiers and bubblegum. Knock on wood.
