Yeah it's acting pretty weird sometimes as if it's affected by serverticks more so than other QTEs it FEELS like.

But it's really just people shooting everything down as soon as it's not something negative to say.

Like, why is rolling your arm over your keyboard such an extremely offensive suggestion? I don't know, i would rather try to find out how the QTE really works first.

I'm long past it now and it wasn't a struggle for me beyond not knowing who kept failing it several times in a row, but is a mechanic where you could hypothetically roll your arm over the keyboard to clear it really worth defending? It was a cool moment in the fight but the QTE itself feels like tedium just for the sake of it.

    No?

Can the QTE be less "mashy"? Sure, i don't care
Can the QTE just kill the person that fails? I don't really care, i find the wipe cool because of what he says and how it just fades out. But in the end, like i said, don't care.
Did i say the QTE needs to stay? No.

I said, knowing how slow you can go will help people that struggle with it instead of saying that abusing your keyboard at lightning speed also hurts your hand very much.
And yes, in that context, telling them that you COULD roll other parts of your body over your keyboard probably helps more.

    WHich is more helpful?
    "maybe try this?"
    or
"i did this really fast thing and it also hurt my hand. A lot"

Advice "for healthy people" does not work, probably because they come from a lack of understanding of the problems of people with disabilities. If you scroll back through the topic, you will find some very interesting "recommendations": for example, one were seriously recommended to play here... legs. And the one who suggested it, for some reason, is still not banned (which in itself makes you think).

I also suspect that any advice on how to "get around" the awkward mechanic does not address the most important problem: the problem of the existence of this mechanic. And the only effective way out here is to change this mechanic so that it ceases to be problematic.
I see. I didn't intend to come across as any way offensive anyways but asking questions and trying to understand can come across as ruder than i want to sometimes. Since really, i am NOT arguing FOR the QTE and not AGAINST people that have problems.
But trying to give advice still helps more than always saying "What do you MaAn i should try something else?"

Dunno about the foot person but rolling ellbow/arm (head is extreme but was just a silly example from me) is an alternative which probably keeps your hands painless and IF you ever have to do the fight again. This might be the better option than trying to mash even faster because some people mash extremely fast. Which you still don't have to do
