And we will keep the dialogue within the game, without going to life examples and the market outside the game.
I do not understand your point here. I really don't. Disabled people buy walkers and have insurance assisted wheel chairs among other things. Why is considering trying out a $30 turbo controller disrespectful?

1. wha? Why do you care so much about who my main is? Do you want to stalk me or something?
2. Buying a controller to help you better enjoy a game isn't against the rules so again, wha?

So what about other games then? You're coming off as though you're speaking at the behest of people who will only play XIV- ever, and have disabilities and thus never ever run into QTE's outside of XIV. The icing on this confounding cake being you want to remove something the majority are fine with for a minority. Because that's my point and what my response pertains to. Buying peripherals which is normal for the physically challenged. If this single instance of mash or fail is stressing you and others out so much, then gosh dang it's a good thing you only need to experience it once unless you're running trial roulette at 80.

All you need is a chin to rotate on a keyboard to pass. Or an elbow, or a foot.

It's not worth canceling it for everyone else. But by some chance you encounter button mashing in other games, provided you play other games, then why not purchase one?
