I guess BLU also flies faster than other jobs, so they are also always first to the fates?

These recent threads are like the only time ever when a flock of people are saying how overpowered BLU is. Also that fates are fun.

The most efficient way to grind fates is to clear them as fast as possible, BLU is excellent for that purpose. It's not griefing if you are doing it to progress in the event, it's only griefing if you are doing it just to annoy people. Not waiting for you, is not griefing.

My recomendation is(as main blue mage) ask for a blue mage to join your party, cast regen on him as healer = you got gold

There are several ways to get round this, either join a party or in the next fate that pops don't go for that way but fly past it to a slightly further one if you find you are with the fate train, everyone will go to the closest one first while you get ahead to the further one. You can also go to a different area that is less crowded. It's not just the ARR areas that have the fates.

However it really isn't that hard to get a hit in and I don't even play blue mage. Just be glad it isn't a special fate where you have to wait for it to pop.

Yeah, it is a pain and ridiculous but it is something that isn't going to go away unfortunately. All I can offer is that I am also on Behemoth and I have had good luck with La Noscea and most Thanalan areas. I avoid Shroud like the plague as for some reason it seems to be the worst for the BLU domination. Of course it has still happened in these other areas but seemed to be much less than in the Shroud. Also, I try to be mindful of what pops and follow the flow of the group jumping in ASAP as Gunbreaker, tank stance, aoe like crazy to make sure i get credit. Poke me if you want to party up as it is easier to get credit that way.

There's not really a point in complaining since BLU has been out and able to two-shot bosses in FATEs since its first patch and no one had a problem then. This is a people problem more than a class problem, and even if it wasn't the event is going on for at least a few months and FATEs pop up plenty of times and within minutes of each other. Eventualy it'll die down.
