During Yokai watch event, make fate bosses immune to Doom please

My biggest complaint really, is being forced to do all of the story up through Stormblood. I was saving the story for when I had more time to play so I could enjoy it fully. It really sucks that I cant do the full event without having to completely change my plans.

If Doom is allowed to function this way during that event then the grind will likely be very painful. I hope that they address this before the event begins.

Already have FC members saying it's insane with BLU doing the event and killing everything in one smack with Dragon Voice. Not caring who else is there. Yeah, I'm going to wait a while and see what happens.

It wasn't too particularly bad in the HW and SB areas even with BLUs there (I specificly went to Azys Lla, the Hinterlands, and The Lochs so they were the max levels possible) but I can't imagine how chaotic the ARR areas are going to be during prime time tonight.

Yeah, during my grind in the Churning Mists it actually wasn't too bad. Plenty of BLUs but still plenty of opportunity to get credit for every fate. I'm not really looking forward to doing ARR areas for other weapons. lol Apparently there's a fair amount of salt being thrown about. They have SE to thank for that. I'll finish my Stormblood fate grind before returning to ARR regardless. I'm definitely dreading it though to say the least.

This event is one of the few times BLU will ever be useful in the open world. Please don't take that from me.

Hey with doom you at least have 10 seconds to build up credit where as tail skrew just zerges the fate in 1 go.

The speed with which doom completes boss fates has no comparison to a regular job doing the same Fate. It might only apply to Fates from HW on, but I remember Fates adjusted to how many people did that Fate previously, so it would take longer next time after 10+ people finished it the first time. I'll need to check later today if the 2.0 Fates adjust to how many people are doing them or not. If they don't that's very inconsistent of the devs and they should correct it, the tools to change it exist.

I don't think either of you have actually seen the damage being done right now. You have parties (and that's plural) of DNC, MCH and GNB all mashing bosses into paste. There is no 10 second count with or without BLU. Maybe your worlds are respectively dead but from what I've been witnessing on Primal, you see a FATE, and you better hope you don't lag because by the time you mount up and fly to it, it's gone.

Perhaps they should add chests to the acquisition structure, an option at least while things are non-ideal for FATEs due to it being a hot content. Plus it might cause a spike in purchases which would lead to a bit of a Gil sink. May think of level or beast quests too.


Still open world but far less melty. Make the rates a bit more ideal for FATEs but the side options not terrible choices if you were just not wanting to deal with that noise (plus there are other benefits to the other choices, potentially at least).
