That's not an argument. You're blatantly admitting to what is essentially bug abuse. This is not what the developers intended.Oh no. It's an abuse of mechanics to have anyone at any level help a friend. It's been around since day one. Blu is the only one with boosted EXP for overworld mobs. It's not hard to level without a friend helping you. This thread sounds pretty 'I made a decision so what I said is 100% true' honestly.
Guess I better report my FC members for helping me level at any point when we weren't in a party, I'll go get the manager. /joke
And who are YOU to say what you're saying is 100% fact? Have the devs/staff flat out said anything about that being abuse of a system? Oh no, people are leveling up a mini-game class way too quickly. How dare they want to get access to all the content a blu has!
Hell, you can get Dragon's/Ram's voice at level 1 if you have a scholar friend to bring you through the Gorgimera fight in Northern Thanalan. That's broken too!
You can get someone to help you learn tail screw in a level 52 overwrold area instead of the level 50 dungeon for it! That's gotta be cheating too!
Find someone to help you level up quickly if it's so tedious. You don't have to do what everyone else does if you want to level it yourself. But trying to demand a level skip potion for something so bloody easy to level? That's kind of a waste of time and money, personally.

Still not an argument, but I'll entertain you for a bit.And who are YOU to say what you're saying is 100% fact? Have the devs/staff flat out said anything about that being abuse of a system? If it was intended intended method for you to level with a friend, they would let you gain exp if they were in the party. What you're doing is abusing a game mechanic which was originally there to prevent kill stealing.
Not sure why you're so angry for me suggesting that there should be a level skip potion for a class that rarely anyone levels legitimately.
How do you know this is the case?
Almost everyone I know has lvled up blu to at least lvl 50 and only one of those people used an exploit to do it. Everyone else lvled up the class the way SE intended us to. I seriously doubt myself and my group of friends are an anomaly.
I know no one in my FC or my friends FC does it legitimately. No one in my static did it legitimately either. Maybe it's an NA thing? How do you know this is the case?

Edit: I legit no no one who leveled legitimately to 60.
Majority? Do you have some stats you'd like to reference here to make that assertion? Something beyond anecdotal accounts?
So? Players do lots of things the developers don't intend. Most of the time a million people are better at figuring a game out than the 30 or so people in charge of developing it. It's just a matter of sheer numbers and it's nothing unusual in game development. The question becomes: is it cheating? Most of the time it isn't. The fact that SE is aware of this aspect of their leveling system and have done nothing about it suggests that it either isn't something they care about or isn't something they want to devote the time and money to correcting because the impact on the actual game is minimal.
The two dozen or so people you're talking about are not a significant sample.
I leveled BLU while farming spells. I seem to remember the 1 - 50 stretch taking about a week of casual play and the 50 - 60 stretch taking probably a couple days. I'm sure if I'd really sat down and done it I could've done the whole thing in a few hours of just spell farming. So there you go, you now know at least one person that leveled without your "exploit," and where there's one there's probably more than one. That's the problem with making gross generalizations. Even a single contrary example totally counters your statement.
Because Blu is the easiest/most simpleminded class to level. Why should there be a potion to skip the pitifully easy grind? Even without someone helping you it takes next to nothing to levelStill not an argument, but I'll entertain you for a bit.

They fixed the ability for you to do this solo via job switching. If it was real abuse, it would be gone or reportable. But it isn't. It's how friends help other friends level normal jobs too to about 15 when the exp slows down, and you're able to start leveling in dungeons in the event PotD isn't unlocked.
But feel free to try and ask Yoshi-P himself on his thoughts. You have the ability to do so.
Looks like someone else doesn't know about the power of friendship and Azys Lla.
