SE stated when Blue came out that this was an exploit and unintended way to level up Blue. It was due to how the EXP system worked and would be fixed when 5.0 launched. They also went on to say that they would not punish anyone who used it though.Oh no. It's an abuse of mechanics to have anyone at any level help a friend. It's been around since day one. Blu is the only one with boosted EXP for overworld mobs. It's not hard to level without a friend helping you. This thread sounds pretty 'I made a decision so what I said is 100% true' honestly.
Guess I better report my FC members for helping me level at any point when we weren't in a party, I'll go get the manager. /joke

So basically they're giving it the T2 treatment. People exploited Binding Coil T2 when it was relevant (the Enrage Strat), yet SE did nothing to the players who decided to do that strat and not the intended way the fight was meant to be done (dealing with Allagan Rot).
Not cheating, or exploiting, it's using the tagging system.
You tag with flying sardine whiile being followed by a SCH, they shield you and kill it, since you have it tagged, you get the EXP and credit.
You can speed level any class this way to 60 and it's not really any different from being POTD/HOH carried.

It's not even that complicated. Literally just tag it with Flying Sardine then have ANY other job with you (preferably ranged) kill it. I've helped level people while playing 80 DNC
True, SCH/AST shields are more a safety strat, especially if the job is 1-50 where they can be one shot if the mob in question attacks them, at 50+ they won't be one shot so it's more efficient to switch to a faster ranged class for the 80.

Ever wondered why you dont get exp if the person is on your party? It's because there's system in place to prevent people from griefing via kill stilling which gives all exp to the first party that tagged it.Not cheating, or exploiting, it's using the tagging system.

What half of the people in this thread is describing is exploiting a game mechanic. No one here actually levels their BLU the way the devs intended it to be leveled. Me included.

So, because you don't like how the tagging system works and want SE to monetize it, you call it an exploit?
You sure you're not from the marketing department?'
P.S: They would have to overhaul the entire tagging system, which would open it up to higher level players trolling lower level players, because the higher level could just walk up and one shot stuff the lower level is farming and deny them EXP. Think about what you're asking for and the negative connotations first

I leveled it just doing fates and killing mobs. Took like 2 days.
No glitches or help. Just do it
Yes, they said that's not how BLU was intended to be leveled are ashamed of anyone leveling that way. Then they went on to say they'll leave it like this until they can find a fix for it.

They said it about job switching glitch afaik, not about leveling with friends without party, and as far as I can tell, that glitch apparently is already fixed.
