Rathalos: Making a friendly reminder for magical healing and potions. Everyone should technically understand cause the E was present. 2-3 People did use them. One guy was permamently at super low health. Most in the party were english according to the log and new. Some werent though apparently

Nabriales: Whole dd group was new. Made another reminder please do not use LB3 before the aether rift appears. And guess what happend? LB3 was used beforehand and we BARELY succeeded in killing the aether rift in time. Myself, a tank and a dd survived. We recovered and killed him.

People dont seem to care? And/or am i walking thin ice with this...?
Never started being bitchy or anything. Just gave the advice in a friendly manner and thats it...

You'd think they would take a break from fighting for dominance when the big adds show up but nope; some unfortunate dps ends up being deleted or forced to kite for dear life.

I've started grabbing them on purpose as a DPS.

I farmed 99 tokens for my Titania dragon so I've done a lot of that fight but today for trial roulette I encountered something I've never seen before in EX or normal mode. For context the player in question had several 80s, including the WHM they were playing as.

So everything is going pretty normal. I'm pewpewing away and I gather up under the boss after the water puddles drop (3 other dps were melee so I figured we'd just use that puddle to soak our fire) and the WHM gets the Flame Rune stack marker.

They... don't stand in the water.

It lights the freaking grass on fire and applies a DoT.

My first thought was that maybe my screen was messing up, the floor basically turned to lava under our feet. The SCH with them is healing so it's okay, but I'm just so dumbstruck by what happened it takes me a minute to even put it together.

I dunno, maybe this isn't as rare as it seems to me but like... you'd think sometime in the 100+ clears I've done of EX plus getting normal mode in roulettes and helping sprout friends that I'd have seen this by now. I guess everyone else just understood to stand in the water for a fire attack... but no, not this WHM.

(And yes, they kept doing it even though the SCH explained to them what to do after our obligatory wipe)

I've legit only seen that once and it took me a while to figure out what exactly had happened, since, unlike your party, we had been in the puddles (Or so I thought, obviously). It's just so rare to not take the obvious placement I doubt anyone sees it on purpose.

I have had that happen a lot.

Back when i was farming the titania mount i had multiple party members who would do that, and it ended up wiping us every time because the damage the Ex version of the flaming floor DOT does insane damage, it will basically one or two-shot the DPS and healers.

I just...people kept doing it, and then on the next pull they did it again, and again, and then they are all "Why we wiping?"

Every third group or so had at least one person doing that, despite supposedly being farm parties.

Sigh, what the heck people?

At least i don't have to deal with that nonsense any longer.

Did the 5.3 MSQ trial today for the first time, went through a couple failed QTE sequences and a failed LB (immediately after which one of the tanks who "whoops forgot" then "had to dip"... sure). On the lead-up to the.. fourth? try, we were throwing out reminders like "You can press both mouse buttons and like 5 keys at once" and "Don't forget the LB after". We failed the QTE again. Everyone stands there for a moment. Then we look at the chat log, and see a message from one of the healers that just reads "werwrwrewrewrerwerwerwerwerwer"

It was so freaking funny we couldn't even be upset.

Ran some roulettes with my brother the other day. Always start with expert. Anamnesis Anyder, cool. Everything is...fine. ish. I'm WAR, brother is SMN. Had a...I want to say SCH, but I don't remember. They did fine. The MCH, though...well, he stood in AOEs, but it's fine. Whatever. Second boss, MCH uses our one limit break bar just as the boss dies. Like, ok. We could have used that on the giant pull I'm about to do, but fine. Whatever man. Last boss, he doesn't stand on bubbles, so we get an add each time. But for some reason, even though the boss takes no damage when an add is up, this guy keeps attacking the boss. What a pain. We switch to our alt jobs we are leveling and do leveling and trial roulettes, no issues there.

Then we do Alliance Raid and get labyrinth. I hate this place, but it is fast and easy. Alliance C, whatever. As soon as the barrier drops, a guy from another Alliance says in /a chat that Alliance C sucks. Cool, dude. Whatever. First boss, one of the other tanks(I'm paladin) decides to pull the boss to where we walked in for some reason. Many people couldn't adapt to this and nearly all of Alliance A and B are dead. This guy at the start is complaining the whole time, but my Alliance manages to kill the boss, move on to Atomos and the same asshat from before runs in and starts the encounter, running his mouth the entire time. We win, somehow. Next boss, same guy pulls early before everyone is in and it looked like most of group A didn't get the buff that allows them to do damage to the boss. This fight ends up taking so long that Alliance C gets the buff and we had maybe 15 seconds before it was going to run out. It continues with the bomb fight and I saw mechanics there I have never seen before. It was a god damned nightmare. Behemoth, again, this guy pulls early. But most of C was there to get a hold on things. Meteor kills most of A and B again, but we get through it. Last boss can't be effectively done by a single group like we basically have been this entire run. We die to ancient flare twice. But a miracle happens and we win the last time. And this guy running his mouth the entire time. I think the Alliance was trying to kick him, but loot timers and combat prevented it. He finished the fight by calling us all suckers.

Brother and I decided to log off for the night because we didn't have the energy to run MSQ after to finish off the night. Fun times.
