"Ne'er till land consumes sun can sea bear moons"
This means to me at least:
"Not until the sun sets can the water reflect the moons' light."
This could refer to the autumnal equinox (since the original sentence kind of gives a sense of balance between night and day) which coincidentally is one year from the CE launch.
"Heavens spew crimson flame,"
This probably ties in with the vision of fire falling from the sky seen in a few cut-scenes.
"hells seep black dooms."
Probably refers to some kind of monsters or whatever, tying in to some kind of end-game situation.
"Stray seeds quicken in ash's grey embrace."
To be honest I think this might have to do with the Level Cap being raised from 50-55(or 60).
"Valiant blades forged under the Twelve's good grace."
Leads me to believe that some kind of AF weapon or what-not will be introduced as part of the end-game.
Of course this is all just speculation.
Good stuff you seem spot on with the first couple lines ^^
What I wanna know is where are verses one through six of these "divine chronicles"?
pretty much all we know is the age of adventure is coming to an end and the age of strife will start.
I am a firm believer that this is in fact part of the "Epitaph of Twilight" in disguise, we are all doomed

Ne'er till land consumes sun can sea bear moons.
This definately means 'the sea can't reflect the moon until the sun sets, as far as I know water doesn't reflect in this game so maybe this some how refers to the next full motion video that we will see??
Heavens spew crimson flame, hells seep black dooms.
The heavens part is referring to the great balls of fire seen in all the opening cut scenes, as far as the black dooms goes, who knows.
Stray seeds quicken in ash's grey embrace.
I think this line means 'life goes on after death'. Kind of like how a forest grows a few years after its been burnt down.
Valiant blades forged under the Twelve's good grace.
This could mean anything, stupid metaphores.
Heavens spew crimson flame, hells seep black dooms.
means to me danger from above, danger from below... basically saying its not going to be so peaceful anymore.
This is the only "close" one that I've found. http://images.wikia.com/finalfantasy..._Mor_Dhona.jpg
I'm fairly certain that the dragon from the opening is not Bahamut, as that would mean that he's been dead for quite some time. Also dragons exist as creatures in Eorzea somewhere in the general area of Ishgard. Also I remember an NPC saying something about there being 7 hells once, very interesting stuff lol
thx alot DubontThis is the only "close" one that I've found. http://images.wikia.com/finalfantasy..._Mor_Dhona.jpg

Decoding : the activity of making clear or converting from code into plain text; "a secret key or password is required for decryption.Yoshi-P posted a picture of a Poem on New Years day 1/1/11 after saying this:
"...In fact, an ancient verse of prophecy was delivered to my person by a messenger from Eorzea not moments ago. But I've never been much of one for poems... Perhaps some of you will have more luck decoding it than I have."
POEM:
Ne'er till land consumes sun can sea bear moons.

It's a code. That's why it's so hard to read, they were limited to respect a code rule.
I beleive it don't mean anything we think it mean, i think it can be reduced to a 2 or 3 words message.
