N.American Ifrit Lag Makes it Unplayable

I've noticed increased response time in the wards & around cities, but other areas of the game have been fine for me.

The thread has merit, the server is showing strange lag in places that I'm not used to. I think it has to do with the market wards changes. I swear the market wards put the BIGGEST strain on the server structure out of everything in game that we have. The whole buying form search interface is a piece of garbage coding job. It ports you to the retainer buys the item then ports you back WTF really SE?

In the last 3 days I have been experiencing the worst lag inside the wards when moving items around since launch day. Its as bad as it was over a year and 4 months ago. I like the market ward improvements with HQ and materia but you can't improve features at the cost of basic functionality. If the server is not ready for this patchy add-on coding going on then stop adding features.

Is that seriously how they implemented buying from the item search? Wow, thats probably why the feature worked a grand total of once for me. Now I just get "Cannot complete transaction." every time I try to use it, so I just hoof it to the retainer anyway.

I understand its just a stopgap until the AH system is ready, but seriously :/

Tonight is the worst lag for everyone in my ifrit group. This fight is barely tolerable in north america as is. Whatever is going on with the servers tonight it ruined the night. Strange behavior eruptions in the middle of the circle mid fight DC's. We lost 5 fights in a row and we dont lose this fight anymore. How defeated do you want us to feel when we cant even see the eruptions that are killing us?!?! absolute bullshit please work on this fight.

You kept DCing sounds more like a problem with your ISP. Also could be your router.
