MSQ - Post-Trial
Seeing all those past Warriors of Light get named—they're gonna be the bosses in the dungeon, aren't they? (Not at all.).
Cute Miqo'te child. Gods, the children in this game are always so wonderful. It's a real breath of fresh air.
I wonder what Alisaie says if you Tie her score, or intentionally lose.
"He was stabbed by Elidibus. False alarm!" Godsdamn it, I actually laughed.
Tataru made new clothes for the Scions, eh? I wonder if these will be like Y'shtola's new look, or if it'll just be the outfits they wore on the First. Considering that only Y'shtola got a brand new outfit, I hope it's the former. (It's the latter. Still nice. Alisaie and Alphinaud keep their Heavensward/Stormblood attire, which I suppose is fine since their new outfits on the First were recycled gear.)
I wonder if the weakening link with the Scions is due to the sudden influx of Warriors of Light on the First. (Nope.)
Tataru helped out with the Ishgardian Restoration, confirming once again that she is the best Lalafell ever.
ONE LAST EDIT: I just realized: I got to feed the Scions! Granted, Tataru was the one to make the food, but still.
The Exarch's soul can't fuse with G'raha Tia's if the Exarch doesn't recognize his past self as himself. Ryne's entire character development is centered around the fact that, regardless of possessing the Oracle of Light's powers, she's her own person, not Minfilia. Please, writers, stop trying to give me hope. You're breaking my heart all over again.
Found the whole bit with the stars to be... very touching, for a weird personal reason. One of the ideas I'd come up with when writing a fic in the past few months was that the Warrior of Light had a penchant for stargazing, and a desire to travel among them. It's an easy pick for a hobby, given the whole "adventurer" thing, but still.
Heroes' Gauntlet! I recall mentioning that the mystery boss girl reminded me of Scathach—her death quote is only solidifying those feelings. I wonder if that's who she's actually supposed to be, though. Either way, poor girl.
I caught one of those Spectral White Mages casting Protect! The nerve of them!
The Exarch is a good dad. That is all.
AZEM is a neat name. I wonder if it's the same for everyone, or if it's related to your chosen deity. Mine is Azeyma the Warden. (A chat with Urianger post-ending suggests otherwise. Azem for everyone, it seems.)
Elidibus, you are the BEST BOSS FIGHT EVER. Also, nice to see Emet-Selch back for just a moment there.
Poor Elidibus. Poor Exarch. And yeah, no big surprise that his death didn't send us back yet. Ryne didn't get her farewell headpat, after all.
Digging this Tales from the Dragonsong War-esque final lap through Norvrandt so far.
Fandaniel being so godsdamned happy all the Unsundered are dead is... well, wow. I guess if he's to be a threat when all the big league boys are gone, he's gonna have to be kind of insane. Zenos being reseated as the upcoming villain is not surprising, and a little disappointing, but eh. Once they committed to bringing him back, this was pretty much guaranteed. Hopefully he remains as deliciously hammy going forward as he's been in his later 4.0 appearances.
G'raha Tia joining the Scions is sweet. Gonna hazard a guess and say he's Ryne's replacement for the 5.4 dungeon when it comes out, since she can't possibly join us in it. And since he's an All-Rounder, maybe we'll be down a few Scions again for that one. Time will tell.
