I don't care what you do. You can do whatever you want. But I do care when you go around intentionally telling other people that RDM is just a "training wheels" job. It's completely rude to people who love the job and play it as their main.I literally RDM until a fight is basically smooth and then BLM after, or at least did last tier before I swapped to healing.
It isn't just training wheels for the party (for the raise) but also for me. I learn when the movement heavy parts of a fight are on a job that's nice and forgiving then I can adjust BLM to fit. This usually results in much less of a curve in my BLM parses too, since I'm starting on it with a baseline of where I need movement tools in mind.
RDM doesn't need to be a training wheels job for you but being mad at other people for using it as one is nonsense, it's a perfect fit.
