Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

You can make Aymeric, Estenien, and G'raha Tia. Not Emet Selch, but last I checked Emet Selch's likeness is in his personality and story.
Recently I played the mage Shb role quest where you control a male Elezen and let me tell you, these guys are way skinny, any skinnier and you'd be playing with a skeleton. I'm trying to understand how you guys want something skinnier than Elezen




I'll laugh if they find a way to make a skinnier male body than that.

Please add male viera with Omega M's body type or the body type shown in these concept arts

I made an edit to the concept art

I made the shoulders less broad, the neck a tad bit shorter, and removed the fur.

I think this is a good body type for male viera

As long as the male viera are slim, and just a little bit shorter than the female viera, I think that would be cool. The female viera are pretty tall in general, so even if the males are a little shorter, they'd still look cool. In my opinion, I think omega m body type is a good in-between for people who want a more buff viera, and for the people who want smaller viera.

Another option would be to allow a max height male viera to be taller than a max height female viera, and have a minimum height male viera be shorter than a minimum height female viera. Or, the height differences for the subraces can be different.

I'm pretty sure Aymeric has a custom face so you can't really recreate him, not sure about Estinien though. G'raha Tia you definitely can though.

I can't make Fran but I can make something close. I don't need a new race to add a face like her.
Same with Aymeric, I can make something close, I shouldn't be asking for a new race to have a face like him.

I agree the game doesn't need a new race to get his face lol just saying you can't faithfully recreate him, they should just add more faces instead.

It was never about faces. It's only ever been about body type.

Right, still can't recreate Aymeric though, which was the only point I was making.

Besides, everyone except Hyur could use some more faces. But that's for another thread.

But yeah, they'd almost certainly be a little shorter than Elezen just better proportioned.

Even Hyur would benefit from more faces. Especially Highlander men - they suffer terribly from 'same face' and the lack of eyebrows makes a lot of people who would otherwise play one give them a hard pass. Myself included.

Midlanders have a lot of options, though they could still benefit from more choice. The stubble used by the Warrior of Darkness in promotional footage is a frequent request. Furthermore, Xaela, Midlander and Miqo'te men are the three most popular choices where male characters are concerned. So it'd make sense to give them more toys to play with.

Precedence shows that Male Viera will look "bigger" (more filled out, more curve, wider), based on how female Viera looks compared to female Elezen.

Seems like this is just wishful thinking since we just got two gender locked races.

I don't care what a small subset of people 'dreamed' of playing, hot Viera dudes would draw more people than uwu bunbois and also not promote ERPs of child abuse.
