Why don't we hear about egi glamours anymore?

Honestly, I'd rather they go the route of Bahamut and Phoenix and remove egis altogether. I want to summon during the fight, not have a pet beside me all the time.

I agree with this as well. Egis have always been a sad excuse for summons, and pets in XIV have been bad from the start, just remove them entirely and focus on the bigger demi summons.

I hope that's where they are going. At lower levels...I could understand egis being there. But since they have given SMN Bahamut and Phoenix I think they could theoretically just phase egis out entirely by upgrading the spells like they do with other actions and jobs. Would also solve the "egi glamour" thing too, at least in my opinion. That said, I think that SMN just needs a rework from the ground up. Some may disagree with that though and that's fine. That's just my take on it.
