Y’all gonna be sorry when SE decides to end this argument once and for all and makes every dungeon have locked doors that prevent you from pulling any more than one pack at a time. I mean, they’ve already started, what’s a few more doors?

Where were those doors on the last 2 dungeons introduced? I must have a different version of the game then...
The Grand Cosmos is a nice dungeon to wall to wall in though. The only door that feels like too much is the one after the 2nd boss.
And Anamnesis has one pull between 1st and 2nd boss and one pull between 2nd and 3rd boss. It actually one of the nicest designed dungeons in the game to wall to wall in. If only it wasn't for the slow start it could be a sub 10m dungeon probably.
It's interesting how different experiences we seem to have. On Lich (Light) my expert runs tend to be more like 17 minutes on average, sometimes stretching to 20 minutes if the dps is bad and only getting below 15 minutes if the stars align just right. On the other hand I practically never get single-pulling tanks. Can't even remember the last time that happened. I can easily deal with single pulls a few times per year. Bad dps is a much more prominent problem for me and hardly anyone complains about that on the forums.
You're on Omega (Chaos), so maybe there's some differences between data centers? Though there's the meme about "French" players and when the split was done I got the impression that the servers with a majority of French players were put in Chaos. But the meme could be just that, a meme.
And then there's the guy from Zodiark, which is also on Light, and apparently they get single-pulling tanks all the time? I have no idea how two players from the same data center can have so different experiences. Does DF favor your own server? Or maybe it comes down to playing at different times of the day?
as someone from moogle the meme is cause alot of french people dont speak english, you can figure out how it usually goes when you need to explain stuff when you dont have someone to translate. also auto-translate sucks. It's interesting how different experiences we seem to have. I do. Its reasonable to expect a similar situation when you're doing the same thing over and over.
I queue for expert regularly. I am out in 15 minutes the vast majority of the time. Expecting that to be the case going forward is entirely reasonable.
It'd actually be unreasonable to expect something else lul

This thread is still going?
Can't speak for every server on Chaos, but my personal experience from playing on Moogle for over four years is that most players have excellent english. Almost everything I see in public channels is in english. And when it's not english it's not always in french. I see spanish pretty often. In DF I rarely meet someone who struggles with english, even if they're french speaking. I legit can't remember the last time I met someone who was clearly unable to understand simple sentences. I hear that in party finder for max lvl content you meet non english speaking players more often but I can't really comment on it much because I rarely use it. However when I do, again, I rarely encounter people who can't communicate in english effectively. You're on Omega (Chaos), so maybe there's some differences between data centers? The meme has some truth to it, most french players appear to flock to Moogle or Chaos in general but some people have run away with this meme and say most of the population is french to the point that their language is constantly everywhere. And some also add that Moogle is full of terrible players because of them
What I mostly hear about that server and the data centre it's on is that most german speaking players go there. I know quite a lot of players who played there or still do and they never mentioned a prevalence of single pulling tanks. Doesn't mean it never happens but their general outlook is being on Chaos isn't very different to what it's like to be on Light. I do encounter single pulling tanks but in my experience it's pretty rare outside of low lvl content. And then there's the guy from Zodiark, which is also on Light, and apparently they get single-pulling tanks all the time? But as you said time of day or even day of the week could increase or decrease the chances of meeting certain kinds of tanks.
I would say around 17 minutes is the average for Chaos too. It might stretch to 20 if some conversation takes place. However as it becomes later in the tier the average time does get shorter, obviously due to people getting better gear and knowing the content better. When I do get a very long dungeon it's never because of single pulling tanks. It's usually because the dps is just not very good. Sometimes this means the tank switches to smaller or single pulls. And sometimes the tank insists on still doing large pulls even though it's obvious even without a parser that the dps isn't there to take advantage of it...which then makes the situation even more problematic. It's interesting how different experiences we seem to have. I'm genuinely starting to wonder if single pulling tanks is more common on NA servers. The majority of posts I see here heavily complaining about them are from players on NA servers. Because I don't know what it's like to play on NA I can't be completely sure if the data centres are really quite different or if some individuals are exaggerating. Before I thought there wouldn't be too much difference between all the data centres when it comes to DF. Now I'm not so sure.
