For some reason, it was left out of the live letter digest, but it was also said in the LL that the gear they sell is also already augmented, so you don't need to waste extra poetics on the upgrade items.

It doesn't actually specifically say it doesn't sell ShB gear, but there's no way they'd sell augmented current tier gear, at least.

Ok, that's nice if they decided on it for 5.3. I thought it was going to be for future patch.
