You people leave to fast

Why would I stay just for a commendation that does almost nothing for me?
If I want to leave quickly, it's my choice, it isn't hurting anyone but your own ego.

Then go ahead and leave. It's not hurting anyone's ego earlier. Some just like to be able to show their appreciation for those they feel deserve it in the form of a virtual high five.

remind me of my encounter with ghost party month ago

from start until finish no interaction whatsoever, they just quiet didnt say anything and not helpin that every one of them play really well like an npc set to "elite" or something. when the final boss die, screen fade to black (loading + auto skip cutscene already seen) and when my screen come back, everyone is gone, like they were never there as if i just went party with my imaginary party member or something lol

I always make it a point to hand out a commendation, though if I'm not waiting for loot to be dished out at the end of the duty then I typically take my leave swiftly. I'm not in need of commendations any longer. Which isn't to say I don't appreciate them - I'd just prefer them to go to someone who requires them.

I honestly get a teeny weeny bit disappointed like "aww" when someone I want to com leaves ASAP.

LoL same thing happened to me bout a week ago, adorable sweetheart little lala girl left so fast, we had good chats during the dungeon and everything, so I tried tracking her down on her server to let her know I was gonna com her and that I think shes awesome, but I couldn't find her, I was like I hope I don't seem stalkerish but I don't want her to think I didn't enjoy our time together cause she'll see she wasn't com'd.

I mean I leave normal raids so I don't get a bunch of junk in my inventory. :x

It's kind of hit and miss, and I think that's also related to people leaving so fast, so there's no one left to commend you. I seem to get them more if I say something, even if it's just "so what happened there" if there's a wipe. Though I think character name also plays a role, because I seem to be disproportionately noticed and commended (if I get any at all, of course), which I assume is just because people think my name is funny or something. Some of the really Lore Appropriate names tend to just blend together for some people after a while, so people tend to favour funny or clever names.

It's completely random, in my experience. The only place I really get commended consistently is like PoTD weirdly enough. I could solo heal and save a run and most of the time that happens I am lucky to get one, on a good day, two commendations. It makes me sad. People definitely do commend for random things, like people's glamour etc., or just not commend at all.

I kind of stopped bothering with expecting comms. I can do superb, be friendly, and explain mechs, yet receive nada at the end, regardless of roles I play. 9/10 times I'm not getting a comm anyway. So, I just put in my comm and be on my way.
