Well comm faster then. You know where the comm window in your UI is gonna pop; have your mouse hovering over the space, have the player name in mind so you can rapid fire click that name and boom, commed.

Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.
You underestimate just how fast people leave sometimes. By the time it's done automatically skipping the cutscene (so the fade to black and immediately back into the game) I've seen people disappear as soon as I can see again.
As a suggestion, though I'm aware this isn't a 'suggestion thread', it would be nice to be able to give people commendations after they've left while you're still in the duty. Other games that allow you to give people kudos of any kind often allow it, so it would be nice if it were possible here as well.
Pretty much. It's like "Good job guys! That healer deser-"You underestimate just how fast people leave sometimes. By the time it's done automatically skipping the cutscene (so the fade to black and immediately back into the game) I've seen people disappear as soon as I can see again.

I would love to be able to get a commendation to a person one way or another.

I never get commended anyway. No point in staying.![]()

Yeah exactly. Sometimes I feel like someone really deserved it but they vanish before I can and then I feel bad because I know what it's like to think you did really well and then get no recognition after.
It's kind of hit and miss, and I think that's also related to people leaving so fast, so there's no one left to commend you. I seem to get them more if I say something, even if it's just "so what happened there" if there's a wipe. Though I think character name also plays a role, because I seem to be disproportionately noticed and commended (if I get any at all, of course), which I assume is just because people think my name is funny or something. Some of the really Lore Appropriate names tend to just blend together for some people after a while, so people tend to favour funny or clever names.
I get plenty of comms just by being the last person to leave the instance. Mostly because now that we don't get timed out so quickly when a duty ends, I like to go look around and check places out while it's already empty.
Ty I'm not there for the comms. I'd rather get out and do other things. Feel free to give it to someone who does stick around.Other DPS, stick around for a sec so I can com u.
Other tank or healer, stick around for a sec so I can com u.
If I'm tank or healer in a 4 man, then the non dps opposite of me stick around for a sec so I can com u.
Ty and have a nice day Eorzea, Othard and Norvrant.
Hope you have a great day yourself.
Why would I stay just for a commendation that does almost nothing for me?
If I want to leave quickly, it's my choice, it isn't hurting anyone but your own ego.
I would never leave to fast, Im not religious
I honestly get a teeny weeny bit disappointed like "aww" when someone I want to com leaves ASAP.
