It's going to get "worst" for a month or so. Always happens with new expansion or major content releases.

I dont know. Sure, a lot of people who werent very good will come back for new content. And some new players who havent learned as well. But i would expect there should be some good players coming back too. It isnt an even patch, so it wont be AS many but some for sure. I would expect more of a mixed bag.

It's not about being good or bad. That's not even a problem for me, I can tell when someone is at least trying and that's the only thing I personally request. My experience is about the "I don't care" type of players that resurface during this period.

I just did sastasha with a sprout ive run into randomly (she almost looked like an older sis to my lala char xD) and while the run was smooth, the WHM really grinded my gears, as he was wearing the raincoat glamour and B2 pants, but nothing at all at his right side.... like, you buy that glamour but dont bother for some rings you get from any merchant...? Also wtf why are empty slots still a thing??

He had multiple 60s and some 80 job... idk...

It just plays into the lazy player argument that regularly comes up again. When you can't even be bothered to fill all your equipment slots with somewhat level appropriate gear, readily available from a vendor, and go into a dungeon like that you're essentially saying "I'm fine with those 3 other people carrying my ass and essentially wasting their time because I'm too lazy to spend this 1 minute to buy gear upgrades."

Part of me says that so long as they're above the iLvl requirements they *should* be geared "enough."
But gearing up is really easy and important, especially for a healer.
Honestly, I wish we could trade with players in duties because just the other day I ran Holminster Switch with a Paladin who had NO SHIELD.
Not just that they didn't have one equipped.
THEY DID NOT OWN ONE.
I had plenty in my armory chest and would have happily given them one (if only for my own sake) but you can't trade in duties...

Honestly, I wish we could trade with players in duties because just the other day I ran Holminster Switch with a Paladin who had NO SHIELD.

The only way this is physically possible is if the player actively sold all of their shields. The GLA story gives you shields automatically, and I presume (I could be wrong) that level boosting would guarantee one.

It does. but she might not have equipped it and gave it a way at the GC.... or just trolled.

I just got out of a cursed run of Bardam's on my alt as RDM.

Our AST would have a Yu-Gi-Oh macro and added sound effect for whenever she drew a card, redrew a card, or even played a card and on Ascend casts. This was on top of typing out boss mechanics in the middle of pulls, spamming Benefic 1, occasionally using their regens, waiting for Earthly Star to pop, and staying put for their bubble.

This was coupled with the fact that the tank was in lvl 60-62 gear, some from the 61 dungeon and others from npcs/hq quest items. But that shield...he had a Hive Shield...he would go down faster than a pizza at a Weight Watchers convention on nearly every pull, followed by me.
