And I actually encountered someone in a SB dungeon with a nonsense name like "Lghtyrpkk Hgbvtrt" because they thought it was funny.

Gil sellers always find a way to promote their business. There is nothing anyone can do to completely stop them. As long as players are able to speak freely in a chat without moderation, gil sellers can too.

It would be nice if after reporting RMT using the chat tool that they're automatically muted from appearing in your chatbox. That would do a lot to help with the spam.

Yes but you could look into every 10-30+ mill gil transaction... or FC's that make 300 mill a day or smt like this... with the internal data they have or can gather by observing them, there must be some ways to at least slow em down. Worst case do a 24 hour limit of gil you can hand over/receive...

And finally, nothing stops SE from just buying a bot themselves and really look into them, and keeping em up to date to counter em.

There is literally no way for a low lvl character to earn enough gil to sell without it being given to them.

Untimately i dont see why they can even go anywhere a normal player cant go, normally the server should instandly kill em if they went out of boundry. IDK why the "client" can just state "yo im X66 Y13 and Z-20" without the server even checking if you can go there...
