Now imagine if everyone in the party sat there with you doing nothing. I think you'd quickly realize that the magitek mount part actually has to be done.

It was fun the time I convinced the party to dismount at the bulkhead and stare at the person who refused to get on the magitek mount. We ended up kicking that player after a couple of minutes.

Players, don't be the OP. Don't be that one person who think it's up to everyone else to do the work so you can get your reward.

Hence I always tell them if I do wait by the wall so that if someone had a problem with this, I would get in the mount. So far, no one has had a problem with this out of the times I did do it. I don't always do this and don't plan on always doing it for the remainder of my runs. I started doing this after I dismounted during the proto ultima arm section to heal a DRG from one run who got dangerously low (I was too late lol), after I saw a tank and healer from different runs do the same, and during another run when I lagged badly to the point where everyone went up the elevator w/o me anyway XD.
