The tawdry female bosses are tiresome, and we could do with more male fanservice.

I mean if we want a direct comparison to that boss - also by the way I think he looks pretty cool - we have had Scylla (who has probably already been brought up). Similar to the comparison of Zurvan and Ultima, The High Seraph.

I think the difference is this male boss just looks like a barbarian/berserker type character. Someone who is wearing animal skin to intimidate his enemies (and almost nothing underneath) rather than part monster. At least, it looks to me like all of his "monster" parts are part of his gear rather than part of his body, unlike with Scylla.
