All I can account for is the US so I can't make any claims for any other country, but, in the US women have equal rights. Period. They can vote, get an education and hold a job of their choosing. It is illegal to deny this based on gender, race, sexuality or religion.

What you're thinking of is the disparity between men and women in certain fields. The idea that there has to be a 50/50 split of men and women in all things which is both wrong and if enforced is discrimination, which is illegal.

Equality of opportunity is not the same as equality of outcome. You have the opportunity to succeed, whether you do or not is up to you.

First of all, like I said, your country ELECTED a man with a well-known reputation of degrading women, including with comments like "grabbing em by the pussy", to the highest position of being a president and even with such a thing existing you STILL think that the US is a place where equal male and female equality is the standard? Not to mention so many MeToo stories coming up seemingly every day with so many men in power abusing women in so many different areas of life.

Also, that companies around the world in all sort of business treating male more favorably than female is really the common thing to do. It's not "one company", it's "most, if not ALL companies": the world is still defaulting to prefer a man over a women in so many situations. You have to be extremely privileged to contend that all things being equal, and things are NOT equal at all, minorities are not having it rougher than non-minorities up there, even when they spend equal amount of energy and time to their non-minorities peers to be successful--HECK, even if they spend MORE energy and time compared to their non-minorities peers.

I have no idea where you got this idea of true male-female equality is something that is happening right now. Heck just a casual look on the video game industry, where FFXIV is a part of, is more than enough to dismiss such a notion. To claim otherwise is just simply being ignorant.
