Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.

I pointed out the same in my thread lol ...it sucks, it was already a mistake in Eureka, but well... they should just finally give in and remove materia sync, maybe just adjust the overall downsync so materia is considered or whatever...The ilvl cap is also pretty ridiculous as it makes any gear earned in Bozja irrelevant in the content it's being played at same as Eureka was with it's gear. All the melds are removed.
What's the point of having a 430 sync if the gear rewarded is 485+ You don't get the benefit of it.
And they were awesome in Eureka and in BA and they'll most likely be awesome in Bozja as well.
It's to level the playing field. Why should people with higher level gear be at an advantage over those without it. Eureka or potentially Borza capable gear was/is a different story it had/has to be earned in the content itself. It really worked well for content like BA.
I healed BA and have a number of clears to my credit on my main and a number of my alts and I can tell you the gear made quite a difference.

Yes, they were awesome and let you do amazing things. They were also a pain in the @$$ to collect because the drop rate was RNG based.
Because that's all a vertical progression based MMO offers? That's kinda the whole point. You put time in, you get stronger. Level Sync in NEW content does nothing but create artificial difficulty.

Oh poor thing. No one said it has to be easy. Oddly enough I managed to collect them without too much trouble.
Why should raiders in full raid gear be at an advantage in content like that. Sorry but the devs aren't stupid. Level syncing puts everyone starting that content on the same level.

i don't like item level sync in dungeon but for content like this i dont mind.
it also looks really fun especially the 1v1
What I particularly think it's a mistake repeated from Eureka is delevelling when you die. It's literally the reason that kept me from even trying Eureka this whole time.
Considering that non-80players can attend. and are synched up. Might also be used for part of the niche Deep Dungeons filled as well.
