One of these days our character will just get pissed off at him for either being too secretive or just not getting to the point fast enough and we will punch him... or that's what I'm hoping for also and slapping Alisaie.I'd be very happy to see Alisae killed off or retired. Other than her, I either tolerate or like the rest of the Scions. Though in my opinion Y'shtola is pushing it with the frequent fake deaths and Urianger could do with one of his secretive schemes backfiring for a change in order to humble him.
I have a secret to tell. From my electrical well. It's a simple message and I'm leaving out the whistles and bells. So the room must listen to me Filibuster vigilantly. My name is blue canary one note* spelled l-i-t-e. My story's infinite Like the Longines Symphonette it doesn't rest- TMBG Birdhouse in your Soul
A huge THANK YOU!!!! For FINALLY selling the Meteor Survivor Polo on the store. AND a huge thanks to my friend who bought it for me while he was at Fan Fest!!! YES I finally have my POLO!!!
Where's Negan (w/Lucille) when we need him? He would solve our scion problems.
I do agree that it would be nice if the threats of the main cast felt more substantial. Given the risks that they keep bringing up, the ending of ShadowBringers would definitely be a good place to actually remove some of the cast for good. Or at least lock them to the Source so that they can't come back. Fake out deaths are fine in small number but once it sort of becomes the expected then it feels like more of a joke and even when a character really does die you just end up rolling your eyes and wondering when they'll come back.
I honestly thought they were joking when Y'shtola wound up in the aether again. Like - really? Same gag twice?I do agree that it would be nice if the threats of the main cast felt more substantial. i doubt they will kill our scion "mother", she is like the face for ff14 "waifu", she (and thancred) already feature in ff14 crossover game so you can scratch these 2 out of kill list.
the only person that i can see dying/retire from our band of scion is probably alisae, i dont see any reason why she even need to be here in SHB arc, all she does is get angry and nagging to something/someone and... thats it, she contribute nothing aside from trying to heal this one specific kid.
- alpiboy is basically our WOL "secretary" now, he provide us with insight, and also become the talk person for our WOL
- thancred is probably the only scion that actually progress the most in term of character progression, he start from being Sinbad like person, to batman, and now trying his best as "world okayest dad" for ryne.
- yshtola and urianger start as boring person but gradually get their own characteristic with yshtola become more wise (and strict mother) while urianger is more open to joke and comedy gag (with alpi and sometime thancred), but their role is basically the "smart" scion member, they are basically the first one who will go sherlock holmes "aha!" moment when a mystery is solved
- alisae?... i have no idea, what did she exactly do all this time? aside from our companion in some story, she did nothing. she just mad at almost everything, to his twin, to urianger, to graha tia, where everyone taking it seriously but in leisure way, she will get angry and tell everyone to hurry up like when urianger speak with the "whale" and encounter "serious" problem, i swear i though it was suppose to be a joke moment but alisae just straight up angry while everyone just chill.
geezus calm down girl.
I like them all but i wouldn't mind them death as long as it's come with reason
I would not want to kill them but other than the twins I would not be really sad if they died. Shadowbringers has given them more character so they are okay now but I also agree that I get tired of having them around. Maybe next expansion its time that we went somewhere else on our own. This would give new characters their way to shine.
And yes please take away the horrible plot armor on Ysthola...either dont bring her in such situations or have the courage to kill her...any other character would be dead.
(I just want our character to find out stuff themselves and not get it spoon feed so often by the scions...)
Sorry Tera bro, you in the eccentric minority. Very few people hate all of the Scions. Everybody got at least one that's near and dear to their personal tastes.
I could stand to see Y'shtola actually die. Her coming back from the forbidden teleport spell and using aether to see was supposed to drastically lower her lifespan. Now she's done it twice. She should be pushing up daisies, and I don't even hate her.
Honestly, out of all the Scions, my least favorite is Krile. She's nothing like her FF5 counterpart, not that FF5 counterpart really had a super strong characterization, but I mean, c'mon, they didn't even get her hair color right. I don't like her outfit, and except for that one time when we went to kill Zurvan, she never fights. I'd rather have more lines and spoken dialogue put out for Riol or Hoary Boulder and Aenor or some of those other second string Scions.
Funny seeing the Alisae hate. Seems like the only scion that relates the most to WoL. "Point me at something I can stab while the rest of you handle the politics."
Out of all of them, she seems the most worth keeping. At least she understands how we solve all our problems with violence.
