Don't Introduce New Titles for Next Ishgard Restoration

Yeah this would be terrible for everyone. Those of us that went through it the first time don't want to go through it again (and again and again every season), and those that missed out shouldn't have to basically be locked out of it forever due to the same people/bots clogging the top 12 every season.

That being said, there was no mention of a restoration season happening in 5.3 so it seems like they aren't having another until at least 5.4. Which means if the seasons are going to be this uncommon there will be even worse competition for the top 12. I know a lot of people (almost including myself) basically passed on the last season under the assumption the next season would be relatively soon afterwards (with some people even believing the next season would start as soon as the previous ended).

Unfortunately, they have confirmed a new skybuilder's ranking season for 5.31 alongside the Restoration update, lasting the same amount of time as the previous. Indeed it was announced alongside there being new titles.

Hm yeah where did they mention this? I'd like to see the actual quotes for myself. I do remember someone somewhere mentioned a reddit post about a vague translation of "new titles", but the lodestone site didn't mention anything about a new season, and I just watched Meoni's video on all the new stuff coming in 5.3 and he didn't mention it either, which is why I assumed there just wasn't one.

And as for why I did it if it was "unfun" it's because it was a grueling challenge that I was and am still proud I was able to slog through and come out on top. Just because some one did something difficult/time consuming/stressful once doesn't mean they are happy to go through it again and again, both in games and in real life.

Huh. Yeah that's the video I watched, didn't catch anything about ishgardian restoration. Must not have been paying attention. I sort of zoned out here and there when he fangirled about teddy bears and umbrellas lol.

EDIT: Yeah reading the reddit post it certainly seems like new ranking titles doesn't it? That is just so wrong that they flat out told us they weren't going to do that, then just spit in our faces and did it anyways without any hesitation. Here's hoping it is a mistranslation somehow.
