Funny thing about this thread, if they got what they wanted, no one would apologize for the vitriol. Very few out of the over 1000 pages would actually give thanks. They would mod their bunny boys (because screw those fem Hrothgar amirite) and never use the forums again.

Or complain that their boys can't wear X Y and Z because being a big company, they can only put out PERFECTION >:C

Why should they apologize? They haven't done anything wrong others than creating a topic showing the devs and the community how important it is to them. There's nothing to apologize for.

Yeah. It was only for the first idk, 10-30 pages or so that people with questionable intentions really showed themselves. They came back briefly a few times since but I haven't seen them for awhile now. The thread is largely civil without those people and I don't see any issues, much less anything people need to apologize for.

Specially considering how viera are really similar to miqote as well, a classically beautiful race with animal ears, and hrotgar are furry roes

I have seen that the people who would sacrifice female hrotgar for male viera are just a minority, and not a vocal one. Most people want both genders to be added at the same quality

What is this Miqote issue that people are talking about? All I remember and can find online is that the dev team said that male Miqote, female Roegadyn and highlanders were something they must have in the game but after calculating the cost of adding them. If they can, they will implement those first and then look into other races like demi humans or dragons. But I don't remember this being a massive issue that they deiced to add them because of it, nor can I find anything about it online at that time. In fact, you can find interviews dating to 2013 where Yoshida hinted that Viera might be female only and another race would be used for the male counterpart. So there was no promise about not having genderlocked races in the game at all.

Maybe I'm wrong, so I'd wanna see sources of said issue and promise.

Of course this doesn't mean I'm against adding them. I'm all for more options. But I don't like it when some spread misinformation just because they want something.
