You could do some of them solo, adjust the difficulty for "better rewards," you could undertake them with a party and only the players in that party could fight the leve enemies and you didn't have to worry about congestion lag or missing the spawn.

I always thought the devs could do so much with battle leves. There was even a point where i thought, how cool what it be if there were leves you could even activate in instanced content like dungeons or even Alliance raids.

These are just my personal ideas and I'd love to hear more. What's some old content or system ingame that you though had potential and would love to see revitalised or get revamped.
Personally, i was hoping that the Hunts in ARR would be a reintroduction of the Faction Leve's where you could team up with a group of players and spawn an NM type of enemy, which was considerably more difficult to beat. However, they went for the spawn windows that exist now. I still hope they will introduce a similar system with the Faction Leve's, because my Leve allowence has been collecting dust for years now. I've only used a couple recently, to level low level gatherers on an alt to the point where i could enter the new Diadem.

I would also like to see a reiteration of the "Hamlet" system, where you can use crafters and gathers to gather materials to "fortify" a "Hamlet / Settlement" (like Hyrstmill back in 1.x) and have battle jobs defend it from (Beastmen / Garlean) invasions.

Finally, i would also like to see "Rivenroad" return as a trial within FFXIV. It was an iconic fight at the end of 1.x and would like to see a "Minstrel's Ballad" (Extreme) version of it in the current version.
