I'd like to see less RNG and more reasonable drop rates for some of the older cards that are awkward/frustrating to farm.

It's indeed the fight that leads up to the event Dalamud crashing down on Eorzea. However, Turn 9 is a flat arena with a multitude of mechanics, where Rivenroad also had you climb the stairs in order to prevent meteors from reaching the platform at all. It would be interesting to see what they would do with "vertical" mechanics in the current version, which would open op more variations of mechanics for future content.
That's basically the main reason behind my request. (^_~ )

I'd like to see the old tower climb be revamped honestly so that you can't just skip nearly every mechanic across the board. Something as simple as balancing the outgoing damage to force players to actually pay attention to mechanics would go a long way to making them more engaging in my opinion. As well as ensure that CT isn't the only thing we ever get while running Alliance Roulette, which is where a bulk of my ire comes from. Yeah the quick queue is nice but after getting it day in and day out it's such a mind numbing slog that I end up praying I'll get luck and end up in another alliance raid by some sheer trick of luck.
As for other content, a revamp of leve quests and a revamp of fates in older zones would do wonders in my opinion. I'd really like to see the bi-color gemstone system brought back through ARR->SB to help encourage people to do fates more often in the lower level zones.
Seconding this. I spent a solid month trying to complete my card list awhile back and was having a generally pretty fun time until I decided to try my hand at some of the 'rarer' card drops. The sheer pointless grind trying to get just two of the rarer cards from the NPCs that had them absolutely broke me and I haven't played Triple Triad since. Hours were spent beating the same NPCs over and over and over and over and over and over and over for several days on end with nothing to show for it. Which sucked any fun I was having entirely out of the activity. I get making things 'rare' but the tuning on the card drops is absolutely unacceptable in some cases.
What gets me is that it's such a simple fix as well. Just make it so that consecutive wins up the drop chance for the cards. With an upper limit of 10%-15% increased chance for the card to drop at the end of a match after three or more consecutive wins, and losing meaning you lose the bonus and have to start all over again. Why not reward good play and make the grind less painful?

I dont mind the droprates so much, but I'd really like to see a revamp that allows us to use more than one 4/5-star card. The real frustrating bit is finally getting one of those rare drops and then not being able to use it (...or actually already farming for a specific card, knowing full well you'll never put it in a deck, because you've got better cards already...). I'd really like a system that would just give you a maximum amount of "stars" to spent (our current system with fours 3-star-cards + one 5-star card as maximum would translate to a maximum of 17 stars) and then you could just build your deck however you like within that restrictions (they could still limit the amount of 5-star cards to one or two on top of that to avoid decks with three 5-star-cards and two 1-star-cards, at least for PvP-games).
I just really dislike how I can spent hours farming a 4-star-card, knowing full well that I'll never use it. I'd dare to say that all 4-star cards are useless right now - a whole category of cards... completly useless. That goes for 2-star-cars aswell, though to a lesser extend (1-star-cards are good for reverse and they'll always be better than 2-star ones, so... another category just... useless).

100% agreed on the 4-star card thing. Which is a shame because the NPC's aren't subjected to the same rules we are and can use all the 4-stars they reasonably want. The only reason for us to collect 4-stars basically comes down to deck completion and wanting some tidbits of lore.I dont mind the droprates so much, but I'd really like to see a revamp that allows us to use more than one 4/5-star card. For god sakes buff the dungeons, stuff like The Vault and Bardam are still fine I’m talking 50s 60s not the inbetween
Half the time as a SCH I don’t even heal and the tank busters are pathetic.
I personally loved the class and job quests and their storylines. I kinda wish they got brought back, but I can understand why they went a different route in ShB. At least, imo, the storylines provided on ShB were fulfilling and enjoyable. Got to learn a lot more about the WoD and his crew.
I also still stand by the fact the miqo'te arcanist guildmaster is a liar. He said he'd see you again but he hasn't shown up again since that lv 25 quest 7 years ago.

Hunting marks should just show up on your hunting log. You shouldn't have to go and grab bills, though maybe you still have a button to update your bills in the event you are falling behind rather than forcibly ejecting them. As it stands now, the hunting log loses its purpose fast.
Gold Saucer UI should tell you which GATE is active or coming up next.

Make AV have a hard mode. Where the whole floor is yellow goo and double the mobs.
