Despite our differences and our differing opinions in this thread, I wanted to say that I respect you and your opinions and thank you for being a stand up chap in the end of it all.
May you have many beautiful children, live a long healthy life and become wealthy.
XD ok I cant keep that up.
Rock on man, thanks again.
I also Liked your post for liking my post.
.. Anima gives everyone the ability to teleport right? So .. why restrict it to one job? That's silly
There's a fair recharge on anima, so those who teleport everywhere will eventually run out and be forced to walk.
I'm pretty sure we don't want to force people to walk, or allow this stupid idea of WHM unlimited teleports. Anima allows for a system that can balance out teleporting/walking.
It really doesn't ruin the game at all... I use it all the time when I teleport with parties to La Nosca from Ul'dahsaves us time and lets us get on with what we want to do.
-- Also, Anima not feeling very 'Final Fantasy' to you? >:[ I wonder what people said about Final Fantasy VII (how different it is compared to the previous final fantasys)?

Personally I think Anima did ruin the game somewhat, but it's not disastrous, I bet there's a better alternative out there or maybe a small tweak would do it. I just gets to be a bit knowing every measly adventurer could zip through space anytime from anywhere, at the cost of some strain on the soul. I know...it's in the "lore" but it's also a bit of a stretch... Anima gives everyone the ability to teleport right? So .. why restrict it to one job? That's silly

Also, as it is right now teleporting is not a spell nor an acquired skill..it's a press of a menu button, that also took away the RPG feel to it somewhat.
In all fairness though, teleport shouldn't be restricted to a specific class. That too would take the fun away from some people, and maybe give rise to paid-tele service. So I understand why there are opposing voices here.
