    • Add a Rival Wings Roulette, I think that can help incentivize the mode without relying on mogtome events or community discords.
    • Add i110/100 Gear for DNC, SAM, RDM, and GNB, as well as future jobs.
      • Alternatively: Add replicas of the i100, i110 and i180 sets that can be used by all Jobs, and if craft-able, gate the mats behind wolf marks and/or desynthing the gear its replicating (preferably the former:P).
    • I'm still against open-world PVP, but I think having a few arenas sprinkled throughout for PVP matches would be a decent compromise. Maybe even have them be venues for Feast tournaments/matches as well
    • Maybe have achievements for assists?

Leaving players in the dark instills hopelessness, an idea of SE's lack of caring about a portion of its community, and turns away new players when they ask questions and all we can do is say ""I don't know"".
Better communication on the direction of PVP from SE, dedicated PVP team or individual (mentioned in multiple feedback posts!)
Everything else that they can possibly do regarding pvp is useless unless there's someone available to explain decisions and directions. Every big shooter right now, every single moba, every 'releasing' mmorpg even blizzard is capable of doing this.

I think an "open world" pvp zone like an open area in wolves den pier would be nice. In WoW, there used to be arenas out in the open world where, if you jumped inside, you would be flagged for pvp. It would be a total free for all, I'm not sure if parties were allowed but tbh I would not be against it. It doesn't have to be a perfectly balanced side activity, just something to do on the side. It would be great to just hop in for some casual pvp while still being able to chat or waiting for queue times etc.

Can we get an update regarding Astragalos? The map has been "temporarily" unavailable since 4.55.

Will the map be adjusted? The map has some problems. Mainly its size and lanes not being the same elevation.

Once the map has been fixed, place both RW maps in a daily rotation queue similar to the Frontline queue. That should help keeping the mode alive outside of Moogle Treasure events and discord community days.

Things I would like to see:
Rival wings roulette as stated above

More NON-MOBA RW modes ( I made a post on two ideas I'd like to see)

Remove the DPS class restrictions from Feast. This allows more flexibility to pvp, especially when forming a team with friends. Tank ,Healer,DD,DD would be fine.

Duo Ranked Feast (idk why casual queue can be duo'd but not ranked)

A consistent Feast season rotation that isn't tied to patch cycle. Don't put Team and solo ranked seasons together. The seasons are just too inconsistent lately. (because of the virus they get a pass)

More Feast rewards that aren't tied to top 100, especially for lower elo brackets. Exclusive FEAST currency and rewards at lower elo too. Silver/Gold/plat+ vanity armor/weapons/accessories. Maybe they could evolve with each season you rank. PVP exclusive dyes with the currency(or add those new ishgardian dyes). Whatever the case, the goal is to increase population at lower elo which should directly affect the upper elo bracket. With this high elo rankers should constantly be challenged for their placements with the influx of players climbing low elo for their rewards.

Feast ranked Decay (maybe a certain minimum amount of games a week just to keep queues populated)

    More Feast maps
(even if its just vanity but change up the scenery)

More 1v1 arenas ( Maybe one in each major city) Or revamp the current one so its bigger/pretty. As it stands, not a lot of people even know about the 1v1 arena. Doing something with it could bring more attention and life to pvp and the arena. Possibly add duel staking for up to 1 million gil or for items.

An open world Free-for-all (solo or 4 man) zone like eureka would be dope for quick and casual fun without a queue. Maybe add a reward and/or risk for high Kill count that could be lost on death if you don't make it to an aetheryte . Similiar to RS wilderness as stated above. Optional for people who would like to join obviously.

As someone who has the ADS mount and is about to finish the Construct VII, Frontlines needs a complete rehaul. 3 teams/72 person matches is just entirely too chaotic and success is not something you can individually influence. You're entirely up to the whims of whether the rest of the team wants to work together, or just fart around and die. The GC Teams needs to go, make it two teams like rival wings for more consistent matches. Furthermore the random spawn of nodes was not well thought out. often times I see node after node being spawned in a single team's base which leads to that team being non-stop focused down by the other two teams.

Frontlines feels really bad when every match ends up being a slog, running longer then a dungeon just to lose. Make matches quick, 8 v 8 games with a fun mode like capture the flag or something along those lines. Make pvp modes fun, don't just throw tons of rewards to incentivise people who don't want to pvp into the roulette and ruin the experience for those of us who want to be there.

People have this same crazy dream of an idea over and over and it never turns out well. I don't think there's a single game in this mmo style that has ever done it well.

Open world PVP means unbalanced teams and the larger team always wins. So you can either recruit more players or give up for the evening. Hope you enjoy spending two or three hours teleporting to different city player hubs and texting people to come play the open world pvp when everyone knows it's frustrating and doesn't want to do it.

The result is usually a short time period where lame gank squads roam the open world pvp area picking off solo players exploring the area, followed shortly by it becoming a ghost town and failed game mode. Seriously, that happens basically every single time in every single game.

Thus developers are foolish if they waste any time on it at all. Eventually maybe somebody else will figure it out and then it can be copied without much time and effort, but lots of companies have failed at trying to make this kind of game play good. We already have 24 person team Frontline matches which are so so much better than open world Warhammer ever was. Warhammer would have died within the first few months if it hadn't come up with having instanced, balanced matches. Realm vs realm was never that good. The first faction to take the enemy Capital city did it by organizing a group of people to do it at like 2 in the morning, it was BS.

One thing that SWTOR has that is different and yet works pretty well is a PVP game mode called Hutt Ball. Basically, two teams fight over a ball that they pass around to score goals with. Last I looked, there were two maps. One was a rectangle like your basic football/soccer field(except with a second tier of ramps, walkways, and fire traps), and another map was vertical where the ball would appear on the lowest floor and the goals were on the highest floor.

Since FFXIV has differentiated PVP and PVE abilities, you could do something similar and make each class unique. Star Wars basically has their whole PVE ability set for use in PVP and they have even more PVE abilities than this game does. But the way the mode is played, some abilities weren't used much and some were used a lot more and to greater effect/importance than other modes. Mobility moves and CC/interrupts etc were huge in Hutt Ball.

I don't want to say "blitzball" right away because I'm not sure it would adapt to FFXIV well as is. So if they did it, I think it should be a unique Eorzean ball game for sure, with the first map being in Ul Dah at the stadium.

Please, give us an indication of how many players are queuing for the feast, and what roles are missing, just like when we tag for a trial, a dungeon or a raid.

Currently, when we tag for the feast (ranked), there is absolutely no indication of how many players are in queue, and what role they chose. It is basically impossible to know if I am the only player in queue, awaiting for nothing, or if there are other players in queue like me, making any pop possible with enough patience.

Also, sometime, even if there are enough players in queue, they is no pop because they are not queuing with the right roles to make it happen.
With a role indicator, any player could adjust to make the game pop.

I would like all Frontlines and Rival Wings to be exclusively on Roulettes and randomized after every full match deployment. Having to binge the same maps for god awful ever really doesn't motivate me to play more.
