    I second SCH with Meltdown. It should be an AoE crowd control cooldown or defence down debuff.

    AST should similarly get another skill to go with Gravity that inflicts a Slow debuff.

    I also want to add to SMN, the upgraded Egi's: Titan>Sephirot, Garuda>Sophia, Ifrit>Zurvan. Then have Titan/Garuda/Ifrit as additional Egi glamour options. Then make Egi's more relevant by having some kind of Firebird > Egi resummon transition.

    tank ultimate skills redesign, new fights would be adjusted for these effects to not give an increased advantage or abuse possibility.. I hate if you have to wipe because a tank is missing and/or you have limited resurrection possibilities due to job comp or because your healer just used swiftcast and cant hardrezz.

    war: getting abilitiy "last stand" can use it to fight on for a certain time after death, it activates inner release disregarding cooldown, will still die after duration of the buff end unless he manages to kill an enemy

    drk: living death change, can get up from the dead as zombie, if healed full will survive
    as compensation for not having an invincibility it will get "black ziggurat" creates a dome/castle around drk - which makes him invincible but unenable to attack for 6s

    pld: gets a buff-skill called "guardian angel", the skill from ff10, auto revives target at cost of full MP pool, needs atleast 80% MP to execute. Only one person can have it at a time. basically a battlerezz for paladins. hallowed ground stays same

    gnb: upon death places an illusion/avatar(magic bullet ok) of himself (same HP and stats) that takes his current aggro/threat and executes a rotation like living shadow from drk ( advantage compared to war is, gnb can be rezzed already, a warrior will most likely still die in a 1boss/no adds fight)

    drg: become a dragon/ get a dragon stance ( you were giving a fancy dragon eye and can do the estinien move, you gonna look like the p2 nidhogg model)

    mnk: hadoken/chi blast, a range skill

    blm: a water, death or comet spell


    But realistically, I feel like we get skill yxz with a potency of 950 for every job that does a shiny effect instead.

    I want them to stop robbing skills from the lower levels so they can tack stuff at the end. Many classes feel like an overstretched rubber band at this point and this makes the older content feel even more excruciating. The bigger peeve is backloading key rotational/priority skills and traits makes bad habits ingrained.

    I really like Longstop but the synced skillsets on pretty much every job makes me die inside.

    For WHM, my mind always gravitates towards having one party-wide shield spell, but then we'd be stepping on SCH's toes, so I doubt that would ever happen.

    I do really like your idea as well though, and that's far more in line for WHM. That would be rather fun to have a short burst of lillies at our disposal now and then.

    they should give WHM a Triplecast variant. There's already precedent for reskinning existing skills and presenting them to other jobs as something new after all...

    the best change in regards to skills would be to eliminate the skill sync in older content but idk the community seems really against that for whatever reason. guess only relevant content can be fun.

    I thought Kaustra was the English name they used for Meltdown. Why I dunno, but meh. Embrava would be good as the Faerie shield skill, it fits with their theme.

The problem at the moment is that the devs seem to perceive Greased Lightning as somehow more engaging or different to other buffs, so it just gets unnecessary upkeep skills instead of some reward for using it.
