    My 2 gil.

    YES.

Healers downtime should consist of marginal DPS and buffing / support actions. Let the DPS focus on DPS because Hydaelyn knows most of them NEVER touch their support actions.

When was the last time you actually saw a melee DPS use Feint? A Bard use Tactiican?

Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

My static's MCH uses Tactitian all the time for mitigation.

No we should not remove Support skills from other classes. Especially looking at RDM and DNC whose whole identity seem to revolve around the utility they bring to parties in addition to their DPS. Removing the support skills from other classes prevents the stacking of buffs and debuffs on a party- It's engaging for players to contribute to all aspects of a fight, that includes helping mitigate damage or buffing up other players.

Healers should be allowed to contribute to DPS with their spells and skills (Either through personal DPS, debuffs on targets or buffs on allies, which imo gives healers more variety.) In the same way, DPS should be allowed to contribute to Support-
