    Capes would be nice if there were physics in this game, but there aren't, at all. Also, it's awful how tails clip through them

    While I understand that you're simply linking a video of Odin's cape in action, the armour obtainable by the player never actually had the cape attached to it. Odin also never appeared in 1.0.
    The one who made the video likely just used a method to turn their character into the actual Odin FATE model, since that one does have the cape.

    But yea, capes would be cool, as long as tails don't clip right through them.

    I wish they would adjust tails to hang lower if there's a cape, or even hide it honestly. There is certain gear that already changes for tails, not sure why they couldn't give this at least as an optional thing.

    While Odin’s outfit ultimately didn’t have the cape implemented, it was considered. But there was some limitation or another that prevented it from making the final cut. That video of Odin has been around for a while. I remember seeing it referenced in a Speaker’s Network video, I think it was.

    BLU's Magus's Jacket has a fully functional normal cape. And it looks great.
    So, we can have capes it seems. Regarding clipping, it works more or less fine, aside from your cane at the hip, which clips right through it.

    Advertising my guild with my cape was the best feeling! Even the badges I put on my shirt and hat come off in duties, but at least I could proudly say in the overworld that I'm in my FC.

    Yeah, it has a cape - but unless it moves independently of the body (eg. can billow sideways in the wind) it would be what I was saying earlier: anchored to the shoulders and to the bottom hem of the hypothetical skirt that isn't actually there, but the movement programming for it is in place regardless.
