I think I might have been in your party for that, as I had a run that was very much like that. I was so confused when I needed to run back up the ramp. Was looking forward to LBing too. I dun get to do that often as a summoner...I healed an Anyder the other day with the weirdest pull sizes I've ever seen. The first half of the dungeon is basically enforced single-pull, of course, so it's only after that barrier falls and you have the stretch up to Kyklops that you have the option to do more. Tank pulls everything there, and everything goes smooth as butter. I'm figuring, "Oh, hey, this tank's gonna go for the megapull, cool! That makes the run a little more lively."
Nope.
After Kyklops, the tank suddenly reverts to single pulls. And I mean single pulls, as in fighting the group at the top of the ramp separately, which I had never seen done before. I wouldn't have thought much of it, save for the perfectly fine bigger pull right before Kyklops.
You do you, funky tank, but your healer is very confused.
Ah yes the joys of being able to caster LB a huge pull.
I recently had a run like that aswell. Perfect wall to walls and suddenly single pulls. I usually just dot the three mobs on the ramp and hit sprint to open the chest and still keep up with the party and then I noticed that the tank wasn't moving. And from then on until endboss it was single pulls. We were all so confused and the Dancer even asked if he doesn't want to go for the big pull but no answer. The Dancer had dashed ahead and suddenly screeched to a halt, turning back and aoeing the pack. We were all fully prepared for the big one.
I mean, it's okay if something came up and you didn't want to risk wiping the party while not being able to focus on the run during the biggest pull. We were just so confused.
Being from anyplace doesn't justify being an arsehole. Like I said, I don't agree with the sitting, screenshot or not, but the cursing was unnecessary.I;m from boston, so in this case imo the cursing was justifiable. I didnt notice the cursing was censored. and read it as just multiple ????. but still the poster is trying to play victim when they was the instigator.
im new to the game and taking a break after being fed up with some of the immaturity i experienced in df yesterday. some people have a 0 tolerence to bs. You trying to play and your healers is goofing off with their thumb up their rear.. see how fun that is. poster shoulda communicated not be passive aggressive.
By the way, you will run across several cases of immaturity no matter how long you play. This game is for children 13 and up by the way. You're going to need some patience to deal with the community, even if it is simply shrugging things off and remembering you most likely will never see those players again.
My relationship with random duty finder is a variation between love and hate. To be honest i found an awesome community in Eureka. Just fate and chill.
hope is the first step on the road to disappointment
I was recording my 75 dungeon run as I had done for 71, and 73 and I forgot to hook up my external HDD that holds my videos..
Was a great run up until my laptop gave the "I'M ABOUT RUN OUT OF SPACE BRUH" warning and my game froze until I stopped recording. Epic wipe at the boss. . .everyone was chill about it, but I'm still sorry that happened.
this is not my first MMO, played ff11 for 8 years, started at age 19. Cursing is just words, if you do not like it use the censor. You cant pull thew <think of the children> card, as kids see and hear far worst things in life. What that person said was justified. Also place of birth largely effects your world view. Im 35 from around Boston MA, growing up i heard everything under the sun and back due to my irish heritage. If someone is being a <insert curse> i have no issues calling them out for it.Being from anyplace doesn't justify being an arsehole. Like I said, I don't agree with the sitting, screenshot or not, but the cursing was unnecessary.

I try to be nice, and considerate, but im not a door mat. I also hate people who play the victim card, that is low and dirty. Also ive been running into the same people often. It happens if you follow a set playtime.

they are playing the victim, it is not hard to see that. Poor them someone called them an adult word... woe is them. while they sat there and did nothing to contribute or communicate. group was justified to call out the behavior for what it is.Tbh, it did impact how those other three saw you. Maybe these three friends are all DPS mains and none of them are too familiar with tanking to do big pulls? We’ll probably never know, but there’s always two sides of the story and we only have yours. That’s why I’m saying both sides are in the wrong.
Yes, your impact to the situation was minimal at best which is why I called the other three people in your party being petty (and not you), but why does your responses have to bleed with such bad attitude too?

So I am confused. I just got out of an 80 dungeon. The one where you have to impress the Nu mo. The last boss is where I am super confused. Not by the mechs itself but by my party members, see when he does the tether thing and zooms at you. It was my belief and I'm right that you run as far away as possible so you don't get a Vul stack. The entire group BUT me ran from him. Everyone else ran TOO him and all got stacks. We finish the dungeon with no wipes or whatever but the tank who also ran towards the boss and got stacks told me to stop doing something. I whispered him out the dungeon to ask what I do wrong but nothing. I'mma go back and watch the recording since PS4 always records but yeah I dunno. I'm just really confused.
If you have melee DPS, or even just tank hell even casters benefit from the boss not leaving their range I have seen people just stand in a circle and eat the tether damage so it's easier to DPS intead of tanks and melee having to run after or ''AFK'' on the side while the boss zooms around. It can't kill you (unless you stand in the AoE that happens AFTER the tether) and healer can easily heal you up. Not super used tactic, but seen it few times and worth a shot if you have melee in your partySo I am confused. I just got out of an 80 dungeon. The one where you have to impress the Nu mo. So I got yelled at for doing the mech correctly? That... makes no sense to me. I was the healer in that one and I dunno. It feels wrong to just take vul stacks when you don't have too. I hope that's not what he was mad about. Even if it is he could've explained that instead of saying that and dipping out instantly. If you're going to comment on something have the balls to back it up please. I wasn't even mad more confused cause as far as I know - it was my first time in there too I'm new to endgame- Tethers like that you run from. I'm not yelling at you I'm flustered and if I am mad I'm mad cause he just bolted without explaining anything like I can read minds. T.T -EXHALE- Time to level up my tank and ninja since I leveled sch to 80 now. Maybe it was a mistake to go healer first. If you have melee DPS, or even just tank hell even casters benefit from the boss not leaving their range I have seen people just stand in a circle and eat the tether damage so it's easier to DPS intead of tanks and melee having to run after or ''AFK'' on the side while the boss zooms around.
