    auto play mode in FF12 is fu because you build your own auto play, in FF13 that not because AI will decide which action your character does, if continuation become auto play it will reduce number of action you need when control GNB and making that job become boring, the fun from GNB that you can do your burst combo each 30 second unlike other tank when you need to wait like a minute for their burst come up
