When they do a sequel, would you want it set in Eorzea again?

MMOs are far from dead, they just not the only thing anymore.
Nowadays you can play so much more and the old WoW playerbase split into online games like LoL, Fortnite, FFxiv,....

And FFxiv will find his end really quick.
The engine is full of pasta, HD textures are lost because of the fast creation of 2.0 and I hope they won't destroy this so far great story with boring expansion.

Also, before they renew the FFxiv engine and create new HD textures, they could just create a new, modern MMO.

For the future my guess is, they will make FFxivs story full Solo playable and they create a fully new FF world.
