    FF14 is a story driven MMORPG.. hell every final fantasy is story driven.. thats why people play FF games.. im sorry if your only here for the combat.. because that's not even 2nd on the list for this game.

    You didn't even read my comment, did you? I'm NOT here for the combat, I'm here for the crafting/gathering, AND I really love the game. It's just that it's TOO MUCH. Everything in their correct dosages and things are great, but this game passes that, by far. It's like going to a restaurant and ordering the very best on their menu and finding that the entrée was too salty, the main dish too heavy, and the dessert to sweet, so an otherwise magnificent meal was totally destroyed, and you are left with a feeling of total disaster, because the chef just didn't know when to stop.
