So normally running thru Prae like 95%+ of the other players wear a majority black and/or white outfit, while I’m wearing bright red. Today there was a Lala also wearing red, and naturally I berated him and told him that wasn’t allowed because it made me stand out less. He acquiesced to my demands.
Well see now you have a half naked potato and that just looks weird for the rest of the run.

Only abilities on most WHM bars.
Honestly? Jump potions. With a small chance it was a bot.
I did a PF for Qarn (original, not HM) because I was bored. The tank was a PLD who kept turning off and reapplying Iron Will even though we all told him it was a persistent skill that didn't need to be reapplied. He did not use shield lob at all and we died multiple times on the first boss because he didn't understand the doom mechanic nor to grab the ads that immediately went for our poor healer. We got thru it cause 3 of us were vets but whew.
This is a lot of ppls first mmo. And mmos are different than standalone games. I see a lot more of this kind of shenanigans in the future. XD
I'm sorry but why people blame the jump potions first? I've seen so many players who are so bad that never jumped anything. I actually see more of that then bad jumpers. I wish people stop jumping on the blame pot train first. But that's just me I guess. Tho your other point I agree with this being alot of people's first mmo.Honestly? Jump potions. I still remember the one time I got two jumpers in Gubal normal, pld and sch. The amount of wipes we had even though us two dps were explaining mechanics...*Vietnam flashbacks*I'm sorry but why people blame the jump potions first? This one is beyond your help. Only sleep can save her now.
I am a new healer, and definitely not as familiar or comfortable with healing mechanics as I am with tanking and DPS. I just had to leave an attempt to run Brayflox's Longstop because, it was clear, I could not keep up. Health bars were melting left and right and, even when the tank tried to take pity on me and pull small, I couldn't pull it off with a full set of battlemage gear. We didn't even get to Hellbender before we had wiped already multiple times. The first wipe came even before the first boss, when a galago managed to aggro me and killed me. We also wiped at the first boss, when i couldn't keep up with the poison stacks on the party members; adds later got me there. We wiped again on the stretch between the second boss and hellbender.
To the party: I'm sorry I couldn't keep up with y'all. I've always known Brayflox was one of the first jumps in difficulty in this game but had never had issues with it as a tank or DPS before, so I didn't register how big of a jump it was for healers. You guys deserved better.
I liked healing before, but I'm pretty bad at it. Think I'll go back to DPS and tanking now![]()

To be fair, the healer should not have aggro on adds. You didn't specify if it was your fault you aggroed the galago or not but the boss adds it is 100% the tank's responsibility to pick up asap once they spawn. While you might be a little wet behind the ears with healing, it sounds like your bad run was compounded by shoddy tanking.
