anyone who's played the game for this long should know how things work by now. unless something changes fundamentally in dev philosophy certain things are just not going to change unless there is a HUGE call for it. anyone who is naive or new to the game should get used to the fact that some of these "ideas" they have for making things "better" should get to know what is likely to change and what is unlikely to change. therefore thoughts can be directed more purposefully towards the things that are more likely to change instead. anything else is pointless.
The parts mentioned here are all separable. Combined, they may be space-faring, but separately, this is barely asking for the highest point in Indiana.
"Going big" here is a design philosophy, not a minimum first step.
