Please fix Alliance Raid "Roulette"

Dear Devs,

Please. Fix. Alliance. Roulette.

I use to enjoy queuing into alliance roulette to help level my DPS jobs, as well as get clusters. Now a days I avoid it all together. The reason for this is because I am sick and tired of getting Labyrinth of the Ancients every single day. Seven days a week.

And yes, I realize that there are so many people cheesing their gear so that they only get Labyrinth, which forces so many other people to get Labyrinth, which is really unfair. I understand that with SHB, there has been an influx of new players playing old content, so when I see that the duty has bonus, I am a bit more understanding. But when you get LOTA for seven days straight with no bonus, it gets tiring extremely fast.

I would like to play and experience the other alliance raids that you devs have put so much work into. I would like to get some level 60 raids, or some level 70 raids. I would like to level up on those raids and continue to practice my rotation on those bosses and mechanics. It's a shame that I haven't seen any level 70 raids in over a few months. I'm lucky if I ever see a level 60 raid at all.

And I know the community response is going to be "it's an easy clear" or "it's really fast", and "it's fool proof"
1) Yes it's easy and that's extremely boring. Doing the same alliance raid gets old and boring.
2) Syrcus Tower is much faster if you really care about speed
3) No it is not fool proof in the slightest. I've been in raids where the alliance wipes to: Zombie Dragon, the 3 demons + bomb trash, Behemoth wipes, and you all know it's nearly expected to wipe at the final boss too.

And if folks don't like wiping to the bosses at the Lv 70 raids, then teach people how the fight works. It is old content, but since people can't seem to get into it, they'll never learn how those fights work.

I don't know if this is possible, but maybe the devs can put in a fix where, whatever job you are queuing with, you have to wear the minimum item level for the latest alliance raid that you have unlocked. Just like how other raids and dungeons have minimum item gear, I would like to see alliance raid have those same rules. Otherwise, just rename it to LOTA Raid, or Lv50 raid at best.

In addition to the people who cheat their ilvl to only get the crystal tower raids, you also have to contend with the people using alliance roulette to level up classes from 50-60 and the people who only ever unlocked the first two raids in the first place. There isnt an easy fix, because most of the problem is your fellow players. The best attempt at a solution i think ive heard would be increasing the rewards if the roulette spawns a higher level raid. Id be all for that. Or lowering the item sync on the first 2 raids to make them actually dangerous so people would be less likely to actively seek them out. Hell, id be all for deleting the characters of the people who cheat their ilvl too. If you need braindead content to level your characters then theres already enough of it in the game without ruining the alliance roulette. But im not holding my breath.

Ok here is a crazy idea, hear me out.
Have you ever thought of, I don't know, just directly queue for the raids you actually want to do? If you want to do them so badly, that's an easy solution, instead of trying to change what everybody else queue for.

You should have to deal with longer queue times and/or less rewards for doing less-popular raids, because I want to cheese the system to get my roulette rewards as fast and easy as possible

Good job at putting words in my mouth, considering I never did any of that and I don't even do all raid roulette nowadays. But sure, since I find the OP silly I must be a cheater.

And btw I all roulette twice since I returned, one out of two times it was Mhach.

What you're asking is as if I wanted to complete a precise story dungeon but instead of queueing directly for it I'd just queue on levelling roulette and get angry it's not popping up, because I want to do that but I also want roulette rewards. It's either or.

On another note
There's lots of people who simply haven't unlocked anything but that raid set, which is why they are most common.
Unfortunately, that's just the way it is. Gotta take the punches.

Oh I've already done those raids a number of times. Trying to complete a Lv60 or 70 raid is not the issue here. Ever since SHB I haven't seen any diversity in those raids. My post is specifically talking about making adjustments to what is suppose to be a Roulette of all available Alliance raids. You're cherry picking one notion of the post, rather than seeing the whole problem. People are cheesing their gear so you only get 1 alliance raid, out of the available 9. If I wanted to run a specific raid, then yes I am well aware I can queue for that raid specifically. Again though, I do not reap the daily rewards that come from doing the daily Alliance Roulette. That's the problem.

Again in my post, when there is a first time bonus, I am a bit more understanding in helping people clear the content. When you do not see a first time bonus for multiple days on end doing the same raid day after day, that gets tiring. This isn't an either or situation. This is addressing people cheesing their gear so that they only get one raid dungeon and nothing else.
