Leveling is explained in FFXIV lore as "becoming stronger" by NPC's. It is a physical representation of how tough/smart/agile/etc your character has become.

anima should be made to tele from crystal to node & node to crystal only

I for one agree with the abolishment of teleporation and the anima system. They make it way to easy for people to get around. I for one for as long as i played so far have used it once, and that was it. Because I think when i get a quest and i am in limsa and i need to go to gridania, its part of the gaming experience to walk or ride a chocobo there, and take some time not just, open menu > teleport > done. But thats just my opinion.
Walk if you want to, let other people teleport if they want to.
I'm okay with keeping anima, but I'd like to see it usable from a gate crystal only. Kinda dumb that you can just warp from anywhere to a crystal whenever you please.
Get rid of instant travel all together ; ; or just bring back teleports
