Eureka is great! Real exciting. Actually recorded myself from the last time I was there.

Oh, sorry. That's a video of paint drying. Couldn't tell the difference until I saw the video title.

Logging in and playing the game.
I hate farming scrips. I usually do the weekly custom deliveries for crafting scrips. And maybe I will gather from like two nodes if I need some gathering scrips (or some aethersand). But I absolutely hate farming them. The only thing that's worse is farming crafting scrips. I hate that even more than farming gathering scrips. I can't even really say why. Crafting collectibles for the Ishgard quests is also bearable, maybe because it always needs the same items?
Praetorium. Some people swear by it for leveling but I can't bring myself to do it ever again.

FATEs - most boring content there is to me.
In 95% of all FATEs you dont get to play your class properly - either because the FATE is over way to soon because its totally overcrowded or because you play as anything but a tank (so casts get interrupted, positionals are out of the question, healing doesnt really matter... ranged might get away with kiting) or because stuff dies so fast that you really question wether or not its worth to apply your dots... I could go on.
There are a few FATEs that have neat little lore-bits or some funny description texts and I really enjoyed the long FATE-line in the stepps, but besides that they also often include to much downtime, where you can do nothing but sit around and wait for the next FATE to spawn...
Right now....leveling tank jobs. I just want the dinobird.
PvP.
In fact, I like FF14's PvP system overal, and do participate in in occasionally when I feel like this. It's just that I simply don't like PvP overal no matter what game it is, and that's why that's the least favorite activity and also why I appreciate FF14 for being PvE focused game without openworld PvP.
Outside of this... probably Pagos during its release days. It was painful.
this exactly pvp is terrible and will never be fun with the current design.PvP.

I... literally wrote that I like FF14's PvP design. It is fun for me when I do this. I just don't like the PvP itself as game activity no matter what MMO it is. I would not like it more in other games no matter its design. In fact, there were at least 10+ MMO I left because of their strong focus on Player vs Player battles.
- Least appealing? Probably hardcore raiding, because even my relatively casual static back in HW was very stressful to keep up. A lot of fun, but a lot of stress.
- Also have zero interest in things like mahjog and triple triad, or chocobo racing.
- I absolutely hate jumping puzzles in all forms. Some of the sightseeing logs are just an absolute nightmare because of the freaking jumping puzzles and I hate it.
- Waiting 18+ hours total for houses sucked pretty bad too.
- Running Castrum. I do the roulette for Prae not worse and less rewarding not-Prae.
- PvP is something I've always loved but it's just not fun in this game. Something about the feel of the combat, the spell delay partly maybe, I dunno, but something about it just makes PvP in this game just feel incredibly unsatisfying. It just feels like mashing buttons and watching nothing die because nothing DOES die unless people actually focus the same person. Even the big fights in the new map, which are frankly more fun than just about anything else on those maps, have a feeling of just... being there? Like there's this big fight happening but I don't feel the *impact* of it, I don't feel that YEAH TAKE THEM DOWN kinda feeling anywhere near as often in this game as any other I've played. Hard to explain it lmao
