Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

I'd have been inclined to play a Hrothgar if they were closer to the Ronso of FFX in terms of their design. I'd also settle for them being inspired by Byakko's design, especially in terms of facial features.

What about if there were MORE Ronso options? Like say if they put a Unicorn horn on the other Face options?

I'd like more options for pretty much every race/gender combination at this point. It's sorely needed, though more so for some combinations than others. Though my beef with Hrothgar is that they're a little too bulky for my tastes. Ideally, we'd have each clan be more visually distinct from each other much like the Midlander/Highlander split but that's wishful thinking at this point.

Cause I was talking about the Hrothgar and how you said you might be more inclined to play them if they looked more like the Ronso. Hence why I mentioned the Unicorn horn being on more faces, since thats a HUGE trait of the Ronso.

Theodric is talking about more options in general, but specifically more body type options. Something like SWTOR's could work if they ever did a character creation overhaul.

Oh Bangaa have been addressed and talked about. Headgear for them would be Non-Existent as well.
But I guess different ear options and Piercings or Tats could balance that, and a lack of hair options.



1- Bad choice of words, they can put in Male Viera or Female Hrothgar at any point they feel they have the resources to do it, but those resources are probably being put to something else that may be more important. Once they cover other things, they could at some point do the Missing Genders.
2- Honestly, A new healer would be a huge seller as well. So...debate made :P
3- You can make probability analysis/equations, doesn't mean they are right either. And SE delivered on Viera just fine. No Male Viera has been a consistent thing in FF-history. So as disappointing as it would be for a part of the community, its not like it was ever promised. XIV can live on just fine without Male Viera, as long as Quality of Content continues and needed adjustments are made, the game can live on.
4- It so weird hearing a Race and a Gender being called a Feature. I have no point or argument here, but it just sounds weird to me lol

To sum it down you agree with me. You see male Viera as a feature that will sell 6.0; gives signals to investors that XIV is in it for the long run, etc.
If not, it gives the opposite message.

I dont see Male Viera as a "Feature" I said I think its weird to call it that.
And I wont argue that Male Viera would push sales, but so would a new healer.
Making Overall good choices for the game besides just Male Viera would get more investors
