Sidenote was it ever explained in game why their are no female hrothgar?

Not really. Their short description on promotional site (and in character creator I guess?) stands that female Hrothgars are "extremely rare", but that's about it. Hrothgars' lore, as well as Viera's, in nearly untouched in the game, though it can change with Relic story line.

Try not to get your hopes up. They have already said there are currently no plans to add the other genders as they don't have the resources. As far as we know this hasn't changed.

And that's why I bring up the longevity of FFXIV. This is their last chance to finish Viera/Hrothgar. If they refuse to finish them the game has maximum 3 more expansions (total of 6 years) left. If they include them then the game is looking to go on for a decade or longer (10+ years). You wouldn't want to continue a game for a decade of "Please add male Viera." It's one of the top requests for a reason.

PS. As far as resources, only Hrothgar takes up a lot of development time. Let's be honest about this here. Hopefully having created male Hrothgar already it would make making female Hrothgar easier in terms of design and development. So that should cut a lot of the development time needed to make Male Viera/female Hrothgar. Male Viera is easy, Viera-like face with strong male facial features, tall and strong like in the artwork they showed off.

And honestly, if the story concludes in a satisfying way, I wouldn't be against 3 more expansions. More XIV woud be cool, but

6.0 is do or die for the game, it will show how much confidence they have in the game going forward or not. Something like male Viera/female Hrothgar is a measuring stick when it comes to that. This is what analysts in Wall Street do by the way, they measure what features a company is adding to certain products and what it means for said company and said product going forward.

But then they can't 'Just do it" either because of many other factors. And Im sure playable content is one of those factors, that would hurt and destroy XIV before Male Viera or Female Hrothgar. Heck no New Playable Healer would have a greater effect. No changing the state of the Healers in 6.0 would hurt the game more then No Missing Genders.
And if they come flat out and say "No Male Viera" then they wont have to sit through 10 more Years of Request, because they flat out said No. But so far they haven't which means its still possible.

Are other Variables and things that could/should happen to this game being Balanced here? Because I dont think SE's Confidence or standing on this game should be measured over 2 Genders they already addressed.

Oh Bangaa have been addressed and talked about. Headgear for them would be Non-Existent as well.
But I guess different ear options and Piercings or Tats could balance that, and a lack of hair options.

1- Bad choice of words, they can put in Male Viera or Female Hrothgar at any point they feel they have the resources to do it, but those resources are probably being put to something else that may be more important. Once they cover other things, they could at some point do the Missing Genders.
2- Honestly, A new healer would be a huge seller as well. So...debate made :P
3- You can make probability analysis/equations, doesn't mean they are right either. And SE delivered on Viera just fine. No Male Viera has been a consistent thing in FF-history. So as disappointing as it would be for a part of the community, its not like it was ever promised. XIV can live on just fine without Male Viera, as long as Quality of Content continues and needed adjustments are made, the game can live on.
4- It so weird hearing a Race and a Gender being called a Feature. I have no point or argument here, but it just sounds weird to me lol

hrothgar aren’t bad, but i wish they went another route instead of bigger cats

I'd have been inclined to play a Hrothgar if they were closer to the Ronso of FFX in terms of their design. I'd also settle for them being inspired by Byakko's design, especially in terms of facial features.

I also do not think that it is a controversial point to consider a playable race to be a selling point of an expansion. Especially when there's a long history of MMO's advertising them as just that.
